Great experience with a very good and knowledgable guide. Highly recommend it. We saw a lot of different animals thanks to Jason. He saw them everywhere. And he is so friendly :)

Amazing experience. I would highly recommend it. Very small group. We saw so many animals. Jason was fantastic. The highlight of our tour was a margay. But even without it it was a unique experience.

We had a really fun time on our hike with Jason. He pointed out so much cool wildlife we would have never seen on our own. And he is so knowledgeable, we learned a lot!! I highly recommend Jason for your night hike!

Very interesting night walk made with Jason as guide. He had a lot of knowledge and could spot many animals: snakes, spiders, birds (the Quetzal!) and sleeping monkeys. Beautiful to be able to take pictures through his binoculars. Much learned and wonderful experience richer!

We did a guided night walk with Jason and it was an awesome experience. It’s a unique way to see and learn about the rainforest and Jason is so knowledgeable and friendly. He asked what we liked to try to see and did his best to find each animal. Of course the animals don’t always participate! Regardless it’s a wonderful, almost therapeutic experience, especially as it was raining when we went. We saw two pit vipers, a toucan, a sleeping hummingbird, red eyed frogs, and an eyelash palm pit viper. A guide is such an asset. There’s no way we would’ve seen any of what he found. I highly recommend Jason too, his enthusiasm and knowledge were above and beyond.

The trip with Jason Rojas from Alma Tours was a great experience. He is good at communicating to both adults and children and extremely good at finding and showing the animals. See more animals on this trip than the rest of the time in Costa Rica. Group of max 6 persons recommended.

From the start to the end the experience was incredible. Guide Jason was waiting for us at the meeting point right on time, with a big smile. He was very professional, passionate about nature, very friendly, well equipped, he is a Monteverde local so he definitely he had great insights about the area, and great knowledge about biodiversity, all questions we had were answered proficiently. We were super lucky since we all know nature is unpredictable, but we ended up seeing so Many animals, from an awake owl, to a sleeping tucán, snakes, frogs, scorpions, sloth eating, among others. 100% recommend this tour, and Jason as a guide.
