Onze jarenlange ervaring heeft ons in staat gesteld deze speciale tour naar Montepulciano & Pienza voor te bereiden voor liefhebbers van Italiaanse wijn en eten. Dankzij onze gemoedstoestand van hoge kwaliteit zullen we je daar vanuit Rome in een luxe Mercedes Benz-minibus naar toe vervoeren, in een volledig privétour! En natuurlijk is uw Engels sprekende chauffeur ook ongelooflijk goed geïnformeerd over Italië en staat hij altijd klaar om al uw twijfels te beantwoorden en u onderweg interessante tips te geven! Gelegen in het midden tussen de prachtige Val D'Orcia en Val di Chiana, is Montepulciano een middeleeuws dorp dat perfect is voor ansichtkaarten dankzij het prachtige landschap. In welke richting je ook kijkt, je zult adembenemende locaties ontdekken, met de groene golven van de heuvels en gouden velden met cipressen. In zijn elegante historische centrum, gelegen op de top van de heuvel, ontdekken de gasten de Piazza Grande, gedomineerd door de toren en de gotische façade van het Palazzo Comunale.
Zodra de gasten arriveren, zullen ze ontdekken dat veel van de kelders van de stad, de oudste, ondergronds zijn. In Montepulciano zijn kelders heel bijzondere plekken, waar esthetiek hand in hand gaat met functionele en praktische aspecten. Gasten zullen genieten van een bezoek in een van die ondergrondse kelders, en ze hebben de kans om heerlijke soorten wijn te proeven.
Op verzoek konden de gasten genieten van een rondleiding door de wijngaarden in een prachtige boerderij gelegen buiten Montepulciano, waar gasten ook een heerlijke wijnproeverij zullen hebben. Klanten kunnen de wijnen van hoge kwaliteit, zoals Rosso di Montepulciano en Vino Nobile, niet missen. Daarna zullen de gasten genieten van een lunch (niet inbegrepen in de prijs) in een typische trattoria in de stad, waar ze de lokale smaken zullen proeven.
Na de lunch bereik je Pienza met je Engels sprekende chauffeur. Pienza is over de hele wereld bekend om de productie van zijn 'pecorino-kaas' en om zijn traditionele Toscaanse keuken. Deze stad werd in 1996 een UNESCO-werelderfgoed en vandaag de dag pronkt ze nog steeds met haar verfijnde en verfijnde stedenbouwkundige plan uit de Renaissance. Gasten zullen genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad, en ze zullen het prachtige stadscentrum bezoeken, voordat ze de heerlijke lokale smaken gaan proeven! Gasten zullen genieten van een kaasproeverij in een van de historische winkels van de stad, vergezeld van een glas wijn en andere lokale producten!

Alex Paolini was our driver today from Rome to the Tuscan wine country ans back. He was great in communicating before the trip and spoke perfect english. The van was brand new ans equipped with wifi ans plenty of chargers which the teenagers appreciated! He was kind to give us waters and cookies for the journey. He gave great restaurant and winery recommendations! We highly recommend this company and Alex!

We took a private tour for a day to explore Tuscany region with Best Rome Driver travel company. Our experience of the tour was elevated with Giuliano who was our driver. He was super friendly and provided us with a lot of information about the city and the history. It’s always nice to be able to interact with local and get their perspective. He also kept water in his car. I wanted to visit a winery and the travel company helped with the booking of the winery tour and wine tasting before we arrived.
