Tijdens deze tour bezoeken we Kotor, die deel uitmaakt van het werelderfgoed dat de natuurlijke en cultuurhistorische regio Kotor wordt genoemd. De vestingstad Kotor werd tussen de 16e en 17e eeuw ook opgenomen in de UNESCO-werelderfgoedlijst als onderdeel van Venetiaanse verdedigingswerken: Stato da Terra – westelijk Stato da Mar in 2017. Het is de thuisbasis van tal van bezienswaardigheden, zoals de kathedraal van Saint Tryphon in de oude stad (gebouwd in 1166), en de oude muren die zich uitstrekken over 4,5 km (3 mi) direct boven de stad. In Kotor heb je 3 uur vrije tijd om de stad te verkennen en tal van bezienswaardigheden te zien, zoals de kathedraal van Saint Tryphon in de oude stad (gebouwd in 1166)
We stoppen bij Perast waar je 1 uur en 30 minuten vrije tijd hebt. In Perast heeft u de mogelijkheid om tske een boottocht naar eilandje Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Rots "must see". Het is een klein eiland dat de grootste collectie votiefschilderijen in Europa en de grootste collectie votieftabletten ter wereld bewaart. Je hebt genoeg tijd om eilandje rond te zien lopen en caffe of ontbijt te hebben.
We bezoeken de stad Budva waar je 2 uur vrije tijd hebt om de oude stad te verkennen, een geweldige lunch te hebben in het restaurant of te genieten van strandtijd.

A very good day out, 3 interesting stops with plenty of time to explore. Darko, our driver was helpful, efficient, and kept us informed with local information.
We went on the Montenegro 🇲🇪 tour from our hotel in Mlini, our tour guide, Darko was very informative about all the places and had great knowledge of everything. It was a great tour.

Like most of the previous reports on TripAdvisor our trip was absolutely brilliant. We booked the day with Andrea who had a booth on the path between Mlini and Sebreno. We were picked up at our hotel by Ivo with a then full mini bus at our hotel in Srebreno at 6:50 and were through customs and into Montenegro within the hour. The size of bus means it can use the “small border” and both in and out were slick operations. First stop was a brief but handy toilet stop with a supermarket and pharmacy. Stops at viewpoints, Perast for Our Lady of the Rocks trip, and the busy Kotor were excellent and Budva and great final destination - it has an old town like Dubrovnik but without the crowds. Superb tour with a very likeable and knowledgeable tour guide. Great value too!
Excellent day out visiting Montenegro. Knowledgeable driver who also managed to avoid a near incident with another driver in the rain. 3 good stops to different towns included with plenty of time at each.
Fantastic trip to Montenegro; Perast, Kotor, and Budva. Beautiful coastal and mountain scenery. Terrific driver and tour guide Evor. My friend and I sat up front. He was an extremely knowledgeable historian and driver!
This tour is worthwhile when visiting cities with amazing views of Montenegro. The group of 15 people was ideal for an agile transport and direct communication with the tour guide who is also the driver and spoke English and Spanish (but the tour was in English). We used a smaller border that does not allow buses, and the process of leaving Croatia and entering Montenegro was very fast. The communication with Andrea responsible for the Dubrovnik Smile company was made a day before the tour. Since I was in the walled city, the meeting point was at Hilton Imperial, very close to Pile Gate, and it was all very easy. Thank you!

An unforgettable day in Montenegro! Petar was an excellent driver and guide throughout the trip. Thanks to the early start, we avoided the busy crowds and had a much more enjoyable experience. He shared fascinating historical information and helpful advice throughout the day, with greater detail at each of our stops in Perast, Kotor, and Budva in particular what to try & what to avoid. The group size was perfect, making the tour feel comfortable and personal. Highly recommend this trip via Dubrovnik Smile to anyone wanting Montenegro! If you get the opportunity when booking, ask for Petar to be your driver / guide, you won't be disappointed.
Petar our driver was brilliant! Very knowledgeable and funny. We had plenty of time at each stop and Petar was spot on with his advice on where to eat. The group of people we were with was the right size and enabled everyone to feel included. The cost of the trip was excellent value and we can highly recommend it to everyone.
