Montego Bay Jerk Tour en Rum Punch Mixologie / Eten Tour

Rick was an awesome tour guide! He showed us the tourist spots AND a couple places off the beaten path, and we had a terrific time with him. Very knowledgeable about Montego Bay and its history, and a lot of fun to spend the afternoon with.

Overall, I enjoyed the tour. The food was great, and I really appreciated learning about the history of the city and getting a more local experience. My biggest issue was the transportation. We spent over 5 hours in a van with a large group, and the air conditioning was not adequate. Everyone was sweating and uncomfortable the entire time, which definitely took away from the experience. I also think the tour is overpriced for what was offered. The “rum mixology” portion felt misrepresented. When I think of mixology, I expect something interactive or educational. Instead, we went to a restaurant and watched rum punch being made in a bucket. The drink was good, but I wouldn’t consider that a mixology experience, especially given the price difference. That said, I can tell Rick is still growing his business and working out some kinks. The food, local culture, and history were all highlights. Fix the AC and better align expectations around the mixology portion, and this would be a much stronger experience.

Our group of 11 from Chicago had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Montego Bay Jerk Tour and Rum Punch Food Tour! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Jamaican hospitality from our hotel pick up that made us feel like family. The authentic jerk chicken at Scotchie’s was outstanding, and the jerk sauce was hands down some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We enjoyed a fascinating tour through local neighborhoods, learning about Jamaican culture, family values, and everyday life. The fresh, hot beef patties were amazing, and sipping Tingz, ginger beer, and a freshly made rum punch was the perfect touch. By the end, we were beyond full—we were stuffed! Ending the day with beautiful photos by the beach and pier was the perfect finale. Thank you, Rick, for an authentic, fun, and delicious experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jamacia . ONE LOVE FROM CHICAGO!

Rick is a kind and professional tour guide. He showed us the sights, shared Jamaican history with us and took us to local spots we wouldn’t have found ourselves. When shopping, he always helped us bargain and find the best spots. The jerk chicken we had was one of the best things we ate the whole week we were there. Highly recommend!!

Rick our was an amazing tour guide we really felt like we were immersed in the culture. He was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. We don’t usually do a tour twice when we go somewhere but next time where in Jamaica we’re doing it again!!!

Rick is the best, great guy, super friendly, great with kids, very knowledgeable and makes you feel like family. I would recommend him 10 times over.
