Krijg een voorproefje van ECHTE Jamaicaanse gerechten bereid door alledaagse Jamaicanen, eten als een lokale. Begin uw lunch food tour met een stop bij een traditioneel restaurant om te genieten van klassieke Jamaicaanse gerechten zoals ossenstaart (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid), brownstew varkensvlees, rundvlees stoofpot of curry geiten geserveerd met een bijgerecht van rijst en erwten en gesteelde groenten. Volgende stop is de patty shop om rundvlees patty, kaas rundvlees patty of kip patty te proeven. Eindig bij een gerenommeerd eetcafé waar je kunt genieten van sappige jerk chicken, gemarineerd in een mix van eilandkruiden en langzaam gegaard boven pimenthout. (Optioneel) We maken ook een stop bij KFC om de populairste Amerikaanse fastfoodhotspot te proberen die is geadopteerd door de Jamaicaanse massa. Stopt bij de plaatselijke supermarkt en souvenir winkelen ook beschikbaar als add-ons. Das was an excellent host! He was knowledgeable about the history of Jamaica, Montego Bay, and about the food that we enjoyed! Be sure to come hungry because there won't be a shortage of delicious foods to eat! We enjoyed delicious Jamaican patties, brown stew chicken, oxtail, jerk chicken/pork along with cocoa bread and festival! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was well worth it!!

This was a great experience. Mama G is the best. All of the restaurants were great. She was knowledgeable about the area and a safe driver. My first time with 2 of the foods including the pig tale (which was excellent). And possibly the best chicken I've ever had.
Das was amazing, and the foodie tour was more than we expected. He shared the history of Jamaica and pointed out landmarks as we drove, which made the experience even richer. Five stars for Das—two thumbs up! He took us to four incredible food spots and was kind enough to stop at KFC because everyone said we had to try it, making it five stops total. He took pictures of us and explained everything we were eating, which added a personal touch. Das was also an excellent driver—he had cold water in the car, great air conditioning, and was super friendly and easy to talk to. We’ll definitely be recommending him to all our friends and family visiting Jamaica. It’s the perfect way to get authentic food off the resort while enjoying a tour at the same time. The foodie tour exceeded my expectations—come hungry, because you’ll be full and ready for a nap on the way back!
⸻ I had such a great time on the Montego Bay food tour with Das! Pickup was seamless, communication was excellent, and he was super chill and genuinely kind. Every stop he introduced us to was delicious though I won’t spoil the surprises, because half the fun is not knowing what’s coming next. I definitely wish I had booked more tours with him. I always try to do a food tour wherever I travel, but Jamaica can be tricky since you’re already served so much food at resorts. That’s why Das’s knowledge of local dishes, along with his advice on what’s a must try and what to skip, made the experience extra valuable.
