Je tour begint met een schilderachtige rit naar het Mongoolse Nomadische Culturele Erfgoedcentrum, waar je wordt ondergedompeld in de rijke tradities van de nomadische levensstijl van Mongolië. Ervaar een bruisend cultureel programma met traditionele proeverijen, de soulvolle geluiden van de boeiende Mongoolse volksliederen. Je krijgt ook de kans om boogschieten uit te proberen en een dieper inzicht te krijgen in nomadische gebruiken die generaties lang zijn doorgegeven Geniet na de culturele showcase van een heerlijke lunch in het restaurant van het toeristenkamp. In de middag gaat de reis verder naar Khustai Nuruu National Park, de thuisbasis van het opmerkelijke paard van Przewalski (Takhi) – het laatste echt wilde paard op aarde. Eenmaal uitgestorven in het wild, hebben Takhi een triomfantelijke terugkeer gemaakt dankzij een succesvol herintroductieprogramma dat begon in 1992. Vanaf 2024 is de Takhipopulatie in het park gegroeid tot meer dan 315 individuen. Buiten de wilde paarden biedt Khustai prachtige landschappen, diverse wilde dieren en een rustige ontsnapping in de natuur.

Onze gids en chauffeur ontmoeten u op uw flexibele tijdstip in de ochtend in de lobby van uw accommodatie. Vervolgens beginnen we onze reis door naar het Mongoolse Nomadische Toeristenkamp te rijden. Daar neemt u deel aan het Mongoolse nomadische culturele programma en leert u meer over de Mongoolse nomadische cultuur en levensstijl. Daar krijgt u traditioneel eten en vermakelijke Morin khuur en Mongoolse volksliederen aangeboden. Daarnaast maakt u kennis met het fokken van 5 soorten vee en speelt u met nationale spellen en boogschieten. Na de lunch vervolgen we onze reis 110 kilometer ten zuidwesten van Ulaanbaatar, we bezoeken Khustain Nuruu, een beschermd gebied dat is gewijd aan het behoud en de bescherming van Mongoolse wilde paarden, bekend als takhi of Przewalski-paarden. Samenwerkingsinspanningen met internationale milieuorganisaties van 1992 tot 2004, succesvolle herintroductieprogramma's hebben de Takhi-populatie nieuw leven ingeblazen. De financiële bijdrage voor de bufferzone van het toerisme wordt 100% gebruikt voor natuurbehoud.

The best cultural experience tour I have ever been on, and I have traveled to almost 90 countries. The Mongolian people were enthusiastic and joyful in explaining to everyone aspects of nomadic Mongolian culture. The musical concert was particularly outstanding (I bought a CD afterwards). My guide was excellent in explaining what was happening so I could easily understand. The arts and crafts shop had outstanding artifacts, souvenirs, and art work for sale at reasonable prices. Much better than anywhere in Ulaanbaatar. The lunch buffet with lamb mutton was delicious and individually prepared for each table; not the usual lukewarm bland buffet usually provided on these type of tours.
What an amazing experience! This was a simpler, raw experience, full of discovery and fun. We got to see the rare wild horse in its natural habitat, learn a bit about the history of Mongolia, past and modern, taste local dishes and drinks, mount up on a camel and a yak! In addition, got silly with traditional games dating way back before electricity and even got a short driving tour of Ulaanbataar. All with a freedom from following a dozen or more others, and enjoying a relaxed schedule. The guide spoke perfect English and communication was not a problem at all. Highly recommended.

Our guide was knowledgeable, passionate, and spoke excellent English, making the history and culture come alive at every stop. The food was simple but satisfying. Enjoyed a lot the day tour. Nomadic camp is not far from UB in a beautiful spot. Their put nomadic cultural exhibition and show were authentic and interesting. The food was excellent. It was only 1h to reach out Hustai national park. I was guided to see the wild horses at clawn or dusk, but luckily I saw them not far from the entrance. Also there were number of marmots along the way roaming. Thanks to the good organisation, helpful driver and knowledgeable guide, I really had a great day trip. Would highly recommend this tour!
