Als ik ooit mijn liefde voor Monaco met iemand zou willen delen, nodigde ik ze uit voor mijn tour. Dit is geen standaard wandeling. Het is een pad dat ik zelf heb versleten. Eén die ik keer op keer zou lopen, ook al zie ik deze plek elke dag van mijn leven. Efficiëntie — Geheime liften en tunnels gebouwd voor miljardairs besparen ons uren bergopwaarts lopen. Tijd is hier meer waard dan geld. Naadloos — Een perfect georganiseerde wandeling met een lokale vriend die je Monaco laat zien zoals hij het ziet. Elke stap bevat een stukje van de legende. Personalisatie — Van mijn eerste welkom tot je laatste stap, je tour vormt zich om je heen. Ik wil dat je een dag leeft als een Monégask die gewoon wilde herinneren hoe mooi zijn huis is. Deze tour is niet voor iedereen. Geen microfoons. Geen auto. Geen grote groepen. Privé rendez-vous is wat me laat houden van wat ik doe. Uw privé "insider" reis begint waar de F1 race dat doet. Dit is niet zomaar een charmante kapel; het is bocht 1 van de Grand Prix van Monaco. We duiken meteen in het unieke verhaal van Monaco, waarbij 700 jaar Grimaldi-geschiedenis wordt verbonden met de spannende sensatie van 's werelds beroemdste race.
Vergeet de steile, vermoeiende heuvels. We stijgen naar het "Gouden Plein" zoals de lokale bevolking dat doet, met behulp van Monaco's "geheime" openbare liftsysteem. Je komt in een wereld van glamour. Voel de James Bond-sfeer terwijl u voor het legendarische Casino DE Monte-Carlo staat, fotografeer de para DE van supercars en bewonder het weelderige Hotel de Paris. Dit is het Monaco waar je van droomde.
We doen iets wat tourbussen niet kunnen. We zullen over de F1-baan zelf lopen. Je staat op de top van de Fairmont Hairpin, de beroemdste en meest uitdagende bocht in de racerij. Daarna wandelen we door de iconische F1 Tunnel – het voelen van de bocht en het horen van de echo is een exclusieve ervaring die je nooit zult vergeten.
Als we de tunnel verlaten, opent het miljarden uitzicht op Port Hercule zich voor ons. We wandelen langs de megajachten en lopen het gedeelte "Zwembad" van de F1-baan. We stoppen bij de beroemde La Rascasse hoek en zien de start/finish lijn – je staat in het ware hart van de F1 paddock.
We laten de glamour achter ons voor de ziel van Monaco. Een tweede moeiteloze "insider" beklimming brengt ons naar "The Rock". Je wordt terug in de tijd gebracht terwijl we de middeleeuwse, verkeersvrije steegjes verkennen, de kleurrijke gevels zien en verborgen panoramische uitzichtpunten ontdekken die de meeste toeristen nooit vinden.
We komen aan op het majestueuze Paleisplein, het 700 jaar oude huis van de Grimaldi familie. We duiken in de fascinerende verhalen (en schandalen) van 's werelds oudste regerende dynastie. Deze plek biedt ook het beste panoramische uitzicht over het hele prinsdom. (We kunnen ons bezoek timen voor de 11 : 55 AM Wisseling van de Wacht).
Een korte, mooie wandeling brengt ons naar de prachtige kathedraal. Dit is het spirituele hart van Monaco en een belangrijk onderdeel van zijn verhaal. Binnen bezoeken we de emotionele en iconische graven van prinses Grace Kelly en prins Rainier III. Een echt ontroerend moment dat je verbindt met Monaco's geliefde prinses.
We sluiten onze tour af in de prachtige St. Martin Gardens, gelegen op de rand van de klif. We bewonderen de dramatische architectuur van het wereldberoemde Oceanografisch Museum (ooit onder leiding van Jacques Cousteau). Fantastic experience for our family - with two older teenage boys who are very into cars and F1 racing! Tour guide was very knowledgeable - historical info, iconic attractions, and hidden gems we would have never found on our own. He also went above and beyond helping us navigate our way to our meeting point - we were coming via train from Villefranche and had never been to Monaco or on that particular train. He was also very flexible, making sure to tailor the tour to our family's interests. There is alot of walking, which was fine for our family, but something to be aware of before you book. Hope to be back in Monaco and would tour with Aram again!

Our walking tour of Monaco was one of the highlights of our trip! Aram was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history, architecture, and culture of Monaco. This was an EXCELLENT tour and worth the money. We are American and did the 3 hour trip with Aram who is a local to Côte d’Azur. He is a very friendly tour guide and was knowledgeable about Monaco and able to tell us about some of the history of the sites we visited as well as stories from local life. We saw the port and Yacht Club, Casino (including just inside of it), Princess Grace Gardens, major portions of the F1 track like the Harpin Curve, and the newer promenade area. Would absolutely recommend this for newcomers to Monaco. It really is as advertised and Aram made it very easy to get around on the elevator system. We were never tired etc. Finally, Aram made sure we knew how to leave town and he made a great lunch recommendation for Caffee Milano. Get the truffle pizza and the Tiramisu for 2!

Aram was a fantastic tour guide that I would recommend to everyone. He had knowledge about the history of Monaco and answered any question my inquisitive daughter threw at him. He knew about the history of the royal family, how to walk around the town efficiently, avoiding most stairs by using the elevator system below the city. We would not have found them without his help and we saw the whole city in 3 hours. He was kind and courteous and we will not hesitate to book him again when we come back in the future, perhaps for a tour of Nice or a more in depth tour of Monaco when we don't have our kids with us. It was a 5 star experience!

We booked a half-day tour of Monaco and it was our best decision. Our guide, Aram, met us right on time and was ready to go! Especially given the complex layout and terrain of Monaco (which looks much simpler on Google Maps!), Aram’s insider knowledge was priceless - he seamlessly navigated us around the principality, sharing local history and personal insights as we went. Using the elevator system and even the Bateau Bus across the harbor, we were able to cover a huge amount of ground efficiently, seeing all the highlights (including F1 sites!) without having to worry about looking at maps on our phones. Aram was super friendly and easygoing and was able to modify some plans on the run to accommodate our requests. He also knows all the best photo spots for the ever-important Instagram, including spots that aren’t on any tourist maps. Overall, a terrific experience thanks to Aram!

This tour was exceptional from beginning to end. Aram reached out to me via WhatsApp just hours after I booked to confirm our needs, review logistics, and ensure everything would run smoothly.
