Mona Like a Rockstar
Beschrijving
Reis om 10.15 uur naar Mona in de Posh Pit – de weelderige privélounge, bar en het dek van de veerboot – en geniet van gratis hapjes en drankjes tijdens de dertig minuten durende reis langs de rivier de Derwent. Terwijl je van de veerboot springt, ontmoet je je Mona Host op de aanlegsteiger, die je naar de Void Bar begeleidt, je aan de barman voorstelt en je laat sorteren met een cocktail om jezelf te versterken voor een snelle duik in de nabijgelegen galerijen. Na wat kunst arriveert u in de Faro Bar en Restaurant van het museum voor een feestmaal van rockster executive chef Vince Trim – inclusief chique bijpassende drankjes uit Mona's wijnkelder en toegang tot Event Horizon, het neuron-tintelende lichtkunstwerk van James Turrell. Om 15.00 uur begeleidt je gastheer je naar The Source Restaurant – voor een prachtig uitzicht, een laatste slok en een speciaal cadeau, voordat je weer ondergronds gaat. Goed voorbereid/toegevoegd verken je David Walsh’s ondergrondse collectie kunst en oudheden voordat je terug op de veerboot stapt (verdere snacks, drankjes).

Lovely trip to Mona with spectacular service - views on the river were great !
We decided to spend the extra and go into the Posh Pit on the ferry, it was fabulous. So efficient and organised. Drinks and canapés in our fluffy booth. Honestly it was a hoot. Only let down was it was only 25mins. Coulda stayed on there an hour! Loved it!
This sounds expensive but worth every cent. A truly mind blowing experience from the start in the posh pit, our own guide Reece, extraordinary collection and the gallery structure itself alone is worth a visit. Then to top it off with the lunch at Faro which is seriously one of the best meals I have had world wide. Then the gift bag and access to a private light experience and then the posh pit back to Hobart docks. I'll be doing it again without doubt.
We paid extra for the Posh Pit and and it was fantastic! Non-stop drinks and a small platter of food was appreciated, especially on the way home. Staff are SUPER awesome and friendly, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The crew was a real credit to the organisation. Well done guys!
Great and comfortable way to Mona and to see the Bay Area. The weird and wonderful seating (sheep and rockets). Ability to have coffee , food and alcohol on board is a bonus.
Great way to travel to MONA. Nice touch with the brilliant food served and the smooth cruise from Constitution Dock to the docks of MONA. Indulge and travel like the rockstar that you deserve!
