Een wereldberoemde ecologische en ecotoeristische showcase die ooit een woestenij van de Bamburi-steengroeve was en werd gerehabiliteerd tot een rijk divers tropisch ecosysteem.
Het monument werd in de jaren vijftig gebouwd ter herdenking van bezoeken van de Britse koninklijke familie en bestond oorspronkelijk uit twee houten constructies die op slagtanden leken; tegenwoordig zijn er vier aluminium slagtanden in een M-vorm. Het monument valt onder de jurisdictie van de Nationale Musea van Kenia, naast het gemeentebestuur van de stad.
Het park is een plek waar reizigers gaan picknicken en ontspannen, anderen bezoeken om onderzoek te doen en verbinding te maken met de geschiedenis. Onder het park liggen oude archeologische overblijfselen die volgens archeologen een belangrijke les bieden over de ontwikkeling van de havenstad Mombasa.
De hindoetempel zal in 1960 vanuit India naar Kenia worden verplaatst. De tempel is open voor bezoekers in Mombasa.
Dit is een zeer versierd kasteel dat dateert uit de 16e eeuw door de Portugezen. Fort Jesus is een meervoudige culturele site die erkenning van de Portugese, Oman-Arabische en Britse cultuur biedt als werelderfgoed onder UNESCO (2011).

The city of one kind with rewarding of history, Culture and nature experiences. Mostly enjoyed every bit especially haller park which is well-maintained with diversity of wildlife in this modern Zoo. Spotted giraffes, hippos,giant tortoises and variety of bird species. Thanks to Mamis Travel for organising the trip.
Well organised and articulate. A visit of most Iconic historical site Fort Jesus, through the narrow streets of the Old Town made our day. With an organised Itinerary we stopped for Lunch at Forodhani Restaurant before we proceeded to Haller Park. My boys where happy with the feeding of giraffes, the hippos and crocodile was. Our day at Haller Park with Raphael, it felt like opening the pages of a living storybook. From the moment we walked in, tall giraffes strolled gracefully by, monkeys leaped from branch to branch, and giant tortoises moved at their own timeless pace. The highlight was standing quietly as hippos surfaced lazily in the water while birds danced across the skies. Every path in the park seemed to lead us deeper into nature’s tale - one filled with beauty, wonder, and peaceful discovery.
A blend of culture through the vibrant streets of mombasa old town, Fort Jesus, and the spice market was brought into life by Raphael our tour guide. After the city tour we had a Lunch at Forodhani restaurant then proceeded to Haller Park. We enjoyed the guided tour, which was both informative and engaging, as we learned about the park's transformation from a quarry to a thriving ecological sanctuary. The highlights of our visit included seeing the majestic giraffes up close, the fascinating crocodiles, and the serene fishponds. The lush greenery and well-maintained trails made it a pleasure to explore, and the wildlife interactions were truly special. Haller Park is a must-visit for anyone in Mombasa looking for a mix of education. We recommend Mamistravel Ltd foe such a wonderful experience.

Great walk and tuk tuk tour around the old and newer part of the city. Antony knows all you might want and need to know. Very helpful getting us to a bureau to change some money, and thoughtful about giving us time to take the photos we wanted. Would recommend.
