Onze speciaal ontworpen voertuigen in de open lucht laten passagiers proeven van het rijden op vier wielen op de rode rotsen. Degenen die de banden willen laten wankelen en met adrenaline op de klif willen stijgen, hoeven zich niet aan te melden voor deze tour! Wat extreem is, zijn de standpunten, niet de rit zelf. Onze routes varen door afbrokkelende canyons, zwaartekracht tartende hoodoos, verborgen bogen en kostbare rotstekeningen. Tussen stops voor foto's en het verkennen van de locaties door, geeft je gids uitleg over de krankzinnige geologie en met drama gevulde geschiedenis van Moab. De surrealistische landschappen van Moab zijn een offroad-utopie. Met glooiende lanen van gladde rotsen en terracotta is het een verrassend korte reis naar het achterland van Mars op aarde. Hoewel we niets hebben tegen een ouderwetse wandeling door de woestijn, kan het maken van een mooie Jeep Tour een veel effectievere en comfortabelere manier zijn om de kenmerkende locaties van het gebied te bereiken.

Ontmoet ons op ons kantoor in Moab, waar uw gids wacht met een aangepaste Jeep Gladiator, klaar om u mee te nemen op de paden. Afhankelijk van welk gebied we die dag gaan verkennen, kunnen we door de stad en langs de snelweg rijden tot we de trailhead bereiken. Vanaf daar zullen we ongeveer 3 uur doorbrengen met het doorkruisen van rode rotskloven, met voldoende mogelijkheden om erop uit te trekken en de bezienswaardigheden te bekijken. Sommige routes zijn ruiger dan andere, maar doorgaans kiezen we een rustigere route voor de ochtendtour dan voor de middagtour. Deze reizen zijn geweldig voor alle leeftijden en zijn veel meer gericht op de locaties, het landschap en diepgaande interpretaties dan op extreme spanning. Je gids deelt meer kennis over het gebied dan je weet wat je ermee moet doen! Verwacht te horen over de gekke geologie, wilde geschiedenis en oude inheemse culturen van Moab. Je komt terug met een grotere waardering voor hoe ongelooflijk en uniek de omliggende landschappen van Moab werkelijk zijn.

- Baby's zijn toegestaan, maar vanwege de ruige wegomstandigheden wordt deze tour niet aanbevolen voor baby's

We had a ball on our jeep tour. Darren was so knowledgeable and personable. He was patient with our questions and put up with our jokes. We enjoyed his company so much we requested him for our Arches tour the next day. I would definitely use Mild to Wild again.

What a fantastic adventure!! We chose the mild morning jeep tour. . Devon was our driver and guide. She made us aware of staying safe and hydrated during our trip. Once we were on our way she made our trip adventurous, informative and most of all…. Fun. The jeep ride is an adventure in itself, up and down trails, open air, and a little bumpy at times…we loved it! Devon’s love of these mountains shows in her enthusiasm to share her knowledge. I recommend this trip and ask for Devon. We are so happy we chose this company. We felt safe and what a way to really see the majesty of Moab.

Our guide Devon was excellent! We wanted to experience a Jeep ride in Moab but kept it on the mild trail to the Wind Rock (which was wild enough for us!) We learned a lot of information from her along the way. I would recommend this half day trip for the experience and the views! Our family enjoyed it. (I suggest you wear a hat that has a chin strap, so it doesn't fly away!) Thank you, Devon, for your informative tour!

It lasts 4 hours and bring bandana to cover mouth and nose from dust. Our guide Brianna was great. Beautiful scenery but rough road in spots.
