Mnemba Island snorkelen en zwemmen met dolfijnen

The dolphin swimming felt a bit crowded. 14 boats all circling them. Snorkling beautiful. Sandbank a fun experience. On our way back we saw dolphins again and there was just one other boat, so that was much nicer! We could jump in and saw them beneath us! Lovely fruit!!

Our Mnemba Island tour was absolutely incredible! Ommy and Abdoulaye were the perfect guides, working together to spot the dolphins and letting us know exactly when to jump into the water. Just when we thought we weren’t going to see any, a pod appeared! Swimming with dolphins in their natural habitat and watching them glide beneath us was such a magical experience. We also enjoyed fresh fruit on the sandbank before snorkeling among beautiful, colorful fish. I especially appreciated how kind and attentive our guides were with my mom, who is in her late 60s. Although she wasn’t comfortable swimming with the dolphins, they patiently helped her in and out of the water and made sure she could still enjoy snorkeling safely. Their care and professionalism made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience snorkeling and dolphin-sighting with Captain Barnaba Tours and specifically with our guides Ali and Ludo. They were great guides and very respectful of the dolphins, while other boats/companies were swarming the dolphins. We patiently waited until we were the only boat, then we went up close. They took their time and were very flexible in making sure everyone on the boat had an amazing experience. After dolphins, my group was worried that we weren't going to have enough snorkeling time, but they ensured we would have the opportunity to do as much as we wanted. By the time they offered us to go snorkeling again, we were already very satisfied with our tour and decided to go home. I would highly recommend this company! We had such a great time!

We visited Mnemba Island in June, and it was a wonderful experience. The snorkeling was excellent, with clear turquoise water, colorful coral reefs, and many beautiful tropical fish. We were also lucky to see dolphins, which made the trip even more special. My guests were very happy and enjoyed every moment of the tour. The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience was well worth it. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Zanzibar who loves nature and the ocean.

We are from Sweden and I must say that today was one of the top 5 days of our lives! Our captain did an absolutely amazing job. We waited for all the other boats to leave so the dolphins wouldn't get stressed, which was clearly very important to the crew. We jumped into the water 8 times and swam with the dolphins, an incredible experience. Thanks to Captain Barnaba and his wonderful crew!

We are staying in the north of the island so we were picked up by boat at the beach which made our lives easy. The 3 crew were very friendly and helpful, they were clear with what we were going to do, and made it very enjoyable. Snorkelling with the dolphins was made easy as the crew were very clear on when to jump and when to wait, I personally had 3/4 great moments swimming with them, others on the boat had even more. The bottled water and fresh fruit was a great additional touch. We would say this is a must to do when in Zanzibar!

Great guides and you can’t beat being picked up by the boat on the beach in front of your hotel. The guys were determined to find dolphins for us to swim with and they did. Certainly an experience worth the effort they put into it. It was high tide so no sand bar available so they opted for the beach to provide us with fresh fruit for our breakfast.
