Begin uw dag met uw gids die u opwacht in de haven / hotel van Alexandria met een bord met uw namen erop. Rijd 1 uur naar Alamein om het Oorlogsmuseum van Alamein te bezoeken, waar je de oude wapens, tanks, vluchten en fietsen kunt zien die in de Wereldoorlog zijn gebruikt. Ook de beschrijvingen van de acties van Montgomery, Rommel en de anderen die aan de strijd deelnamen, zijn allemaal te zien. Daarna vervolg je je weg naar het westen van Al Alamein, een prachtige stad met uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee, om de begraafplaatsen uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog te bezoeken, waar je zult zien dat de citadel eruitziet alsof begraafplaatsen de laatste rustplaats zijn voor de gemeenschappelijke rijkdom, Griekse, Italiaanse en Duitse soldaten. This was a great experience of the modern history of Egypt (and of the entire world actually). Very moving to see the German, Italian and Common Wealth War Graves monuments and burial places. Very well-done museum. Most of all, we are grateful to Mirette Tours and staff for their great communication and ability to accommodate some changes to enable us to even do the tour - they were so professional and caring. Our guide, Nealah, was very knowledgeable and professional - her commentary was so important to our appreciation of all the sites and the museum - we learned a lot. Our driver, Ayman, was a gem. Naelah was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who this took us from Alexandria out to Alamein with its memorials and museums and the we drove through the massive new developments on the coast. The trip a very enjoyable and moving experience. Our driver did a great job steering us through the traffic.

My trip to the Commonwealth and German cemeteries and the museum was quite a sobering experience, but nevertheless fascinating. The guide Levine was efficient, well informed and very obliging. The program was as advertised and the timings generous.

Alamein is a different unique to visit. Our guide and driver picked us up from the hotel and we took the way to Alamein .Great views and nice places to see. Guide Medhat is an expert . Thanks .

Very interesting tour. Interesting sites, friendly guide, skilled driver. We visited all three cemeteries (Commonwealth, German, Italian) and the War Museum. Driving time from/to Alexandria was a little under two hours each way. There was some confusion in advance because the phone number given to us by TripAdvisor for the tour was wrong, and the tour operator did not contact us to confirm until 12 hours before the tour. But everything worked out. If you book with them, and the phone number is wrong, you can still contact them through the TripAdvisor site with Contact Tour Operator.
