Miravalles vulkaan: Wandeling secundaire krater & Hot Springs Jungle

Een bezoek aan Costa Rica zonder het tropische regenwoud te ervaren, voelt alsof je een cruciaal aspect van zijn natuurlijke pracht mist. Het regenwoud staat bekend als een bestemming die je in je leven gezien moet hebben, en in combinatie met een vulkaan wordt de reis echt buitengewoon. Stel je voor dat je voor een beloopbare krater staat en getuige bent van de majestueuze schoonheid die twee verschillende landschappen naadloos samenvoegt: het weelderige groen van het regenwoud tegen het ruige terrein van de vulkaan. Deze combinatie van kleuren en texturen is een lust voor het oog, een bewijs van de ontzagwekkende kracht van de natuur. Bovendien beperkt je avontuur zich niet tot louter observatie. Stel je voor dat je een verfrissende duik neemt in een ongerepte, natuurlijke waterval diep in de jungle. Hier, te midden van het groene groen, kunt u veilig zwemmen, omringd door de serene sfeer van deze afgelegen oase.

Deze tour brengt ons naar de voet van de Miravalles-vulkaan en stopt onderweg naar een pittoreske waterval, waar je kunt zwemmen in een natuurlijk ongerept zwembad.
Vervolgens gaan we wandelen door het tropische regenwoud, met 2 hangende bruggen waar we 3 verborgen watervallen kunnen vinden. We komen dan aan bij Las Hornillas, een doorloop, ACTIEVE vulkanische krater, bereid je voor om verbaasd te worden door de fumarolen, zwavelhoudende rotsen, kokende vulkanische modderpoelen en nog veel meer! Hier kunt u ontspannen in de wereldberoemde warmwaterbronnen en uw poriën openen in de unieke sauna, gebouwd boven een natuurlijk verwarmd kokend mineraalbad, en vervolgens uw lichaam bedekken met vulkanische modder uit dezelfde krater. Sluit af met een ontspannend bad bij de natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen, dit alles met uitzicht op de Miravalles-vulkaan!

1. HET MINIMUMAANTAL PERSONEN OM TE OPEREREN IS 4. We kunnen proberen groepen te maken uit verschillende hotels, dus het is belangrijk om te boeken op DINSDAG en DONDERDAG. Als we het minimum niet halen, moet de tour worden geannuleerd omdat deze niet tegen de normale prijs wordt uitgevoerd. 2. WIJ PAKKEN OP IN VEEL ANDERE HOTELS IN Guanacaste, ook AIRBNB of andere particuliere huizen. Neem contact met ons op om te bevestigen of uw hotel of resort beschikbaar is om u de ophaalservice aan te bieden! Zodra u de reservering heeft gemaakt, laten wij u de ophaaltijd en het ontmoetingspunt weten. 3. VERGEET NIET DE OPHAALTIJD TE BEVESTIGEN, DEZE IS IN ELK RESORT ANDERS! Sommige hotels zoals W Conchal, JW Marriot, Westin Conchal, sommige in Tamarindo, Flamingo en Potrero hebben extra kosten voor het ophalen daar als we niet meer mensen van die locatie hebben, maar vraag er gerust naar, want we proberen het altijd om u te helpen met de beste optie, voor grote groepen kunnen we een deal maken, vraag ernaar!! 4. DENK ERAAN ALS U VAN RIU HOTELS KENT, VERGEET DAN NIET UW PASPOORTFOTO IN UW TELEFOON! 5. WIJ HEBBEN VEEL HOTELS DIE WE OPHALEN AANBIEDEN, BOEK JE BOEK EN VRAAG OF WE DE OPHALEN DAAR KUNNEN AANBIEDEN! 6. WIJ WERKEN MET KLEINE GROEPEN VAN ROND 15 PERSONEN IN DE REGELMATIGE GROEP, MAAR ALS U EEN GROEP VAN MEER DAN 20 PERSONEN HEBT, KUNNEN WE DAT ZOALS EEN PRIVÉTOUR GEBRUIKEN.

We were picked up and Cesar was very professional and spoke very proudly about life in everyday Costa Rica. Very informative of the tour schedule and kept it relaxed and on point. He actually did spot a Sloth family at the volcano area with a 9 month old baby and allowed many photos. Made the day to them in their natural habitat and not in a cage. The day was fun and full of action. On the way back him and Maik made a driving detour and found a small troop of Holler Monkey’s and we stopped to do photos and really hear just how loud they are. This excursion was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we left the hotel, it felt like stepping straight into a nature documentary. We chased waterfalls through lush jungle trails, spotted the sleepiest sloths tucked high in the trees, and even came across snakes and vibrant butterflies along the way. Every turn felt like a new discovery. The guide Noel and our driver were incredible, pointing out wildlife we would have completely missed on our own and sharing so much knowledge about the ecosystem. The hike around Miravalles Volcano was stunning, and the hot springs at the end were the perfect reward. And yes… the volcanic mud? Fully embraced it. Messy, fun, and surprisingly relaxing. If you’re looking for a mix of adventure, wildlife, and a little bit of “wow, is this real life?” — this is it. Absolutely worth it.

Second tour of the trip and it did not disappoint. Huge shoutout to Alex for making it such a memorable experience. From ziplining and waterfalls to horseback riding, hanging bridges, and ending the day in hot springs… it was everything. 10/10 recommend for a one-day adventure.

What a beautiful experience, it was healing and peaceful during some of it and then the other part was exciting and adventurous. The driver and tour guide Cesar were amazing, kept our stuff safe on the bus and the tour guide knew so much about Costa Rica to teach us along the way.
