Geniet van deze reis naar The Miravalles, waar u de actieve krater van een vulkaan met modderpotten en temperaturen van 40o tot 100o C zult observeren. U kunt gebruik maken van de modderbaden in de outdoor/natuurlijke spa, sauna en drie thermale baden waar u kunt profiteren van de rijkdom aan eigenschappen die deze wateren van vulkanische oorsprong hebben.

Tijdens deze dagtrip kunt u de rook, hete stenen en gekristalliseerde zwavel tussen andere schilderachtige schoonheden van de Miravalles-vulkaan zien. Een ongetemde berg bedekt met regenwoud zal ons veilig de enige in de hand lopende krater in Costa Rica laten bezoeken. De eerste stop op de rit naar de vulkaan is een bezoek aan een van de mooiste watervallen van het land Llanos del Cortez zie afbeelding profiel (Extra kosten $ 7 contant volwassen - $ 4 contant kinderen) en als je zou willen, kun je je zwemkleding meenemen en zwemmen onder het majestueuze watergordijn. De volgende stop is de krater bij Miravalles, waar u veel geothermische activiteit zult zien en de machtige kracht van onder ons zult voelen. Je zult een vulkanisch modderbad hebben en ontspannen in de hete bronnen voor de lunch en dan zul je het tropische regenwoud ervaren tijdens een gematigde wandeling langs enkele adembenemende hangbruggen en nog drie watervallen (Meegeleverd op het pakket). Dit is een dag vol met watervallen en vulkaanervaring. Bruisende modderpoelen: De borrelende modderpoelen zijn gaten die modder bevatten. Deze modderpoelen, die ook gesulfureerd thermaal water hebben, hebben allemaal verschillende temperaturen: 176º, 212º en 392º F (80º, 100º en 200ºC). Deze modder is geurloos en kan worden gevonden in drie verschillende kleuren: grijs, bruin en geel. De kleuring geeft aan hoe diep het zwembad is: de bruine modder geeft een diepte van twee meter aan, de grijze modder een diepte van een meter en de gele modder geeft aan dat de modder van het oppervlak is en vol zwavel zit. Je kunt de klei waarin je wilt baden selecteren en die dan uit het borrelende modderpoel halen. Terwijl je 15 of 20 minuten wacht om de klei af te koelen, kun je genieten van een van de grootste wonderen van de wereld. Na het baden in deze vulkanische modder zal je huid fris en soepel aanvoelen. Wat mee te brengen? Vergeet je zwemkleding, wandelschoenen, sandalen, kledingwissel, verrekijker, camera, sunblock, geld en een hoed niet. Carlos was a great guide! We loved the cable bridges and waterfalls! Lunch was good. We saw 2 sloths and some howler monkeys.

The guide was very informative and nice. The hike felt a little rushed. And advertising a volcano, and not getting to get to hike it or get close to it was disappointing. The water fall and views were beautiful. The hot springs experience was nice, but also felt rushed. The wildlife was awesome to see.

This was the last stop on our tour that started at the sloth sanctuary and went to the coffee and chocolate farm and then ended with the waterfall. We walked down the steps into the waterfall area, which was beautiful, but really just stayed about 20 minutes or so then left.
This reviews does not reflect our tour. First of all, we do not offer coffee or chocolate tours on this tour. This person chose the wrong company for this reviewed. Judge for yourselves by reading the tour description, which does not mention anything about chocolate or coffee tours. We reported the comment to Tripadvisor but it was so poor that they decided to stay, They did not take the minimum time to investigate, but 5 minutes after reporting, they responded that they had investigated, which they did not. It's frustrating to know that anyone can comment on your business and harm you, and Trip Advisor doesn't help you at all. I don't recommend anyone work with Trip Advisor or Viator...scam. I suggest you book directly with the company.
Our guide was great and very informative about the area. I loved crossing the swinging bridge to get to the waterfall. The authentic Costa Rican lunch was great as were the hot springs and mud bath.

For our last day in Costa Rica we decided to have a full day out to see the Miravalles Volcano and springs as well as tour the waterfalls (with an additional stop to see the Llanos del Cortez waterfalls on the way). A well organised tour with decent lunch and mix of sightseeing and spa activities at the volcano itself. Our 6 year old enjoyed the day especially the short hike to the Miravalles waterfalls. Andreas was our guide and looked after us for the day. Would definitely recommend this activity.
