Nadat we je hebben opgehaald, nemen we je mee om de mooiste en meest iconische plekken van Miraflores te verkennen. Ontdek, onder begeleiding van uw Expert Leider, de geschiedenis en evolutie van deze karakteristieke wijk — een van de meest levendige en bezochte gebieden in de stad Lima.
Onze tour begint met een bezoek aan deze indrukwekkende adobe en kleipiramide, gebouwd tussen 200 en 700 na Christus. Het diende als een belangrijk ceremonieel en administratief centrum voor de oude Lima-cultuur. Vanuit het exterieur zullen we de omvang en betekenis van deze opmerkelijke archeologische site bewonderen, een waar bewijs van de vroege beschavingen van Peru.
Vervolgens bezoeken we The Olive Park, een serene en pittoreske historische site gelegen in de wijk San Isidro. De belangrijkste attractie is de collectie eeuwenoude olijfbomen, zorgvuldig bewaard door de tijd heen. Het park beschikt ook over displays van antieke machines die ooit werden gebruikt voor de productie van olijfolie, weelderige tuinen gevuld met kleurrijke bloemen en struiken, en een siervijver met vissen en terrapins. Omgeven door charmante historische huizen en bezaaid met uitnodigende banken, biedt dit park een perfecte setting om te ontspannen en te genieten van de rustige sfeer van het groene hart van Lima.
We bezoeken dan deze charmante bezienswaardigheid, ingehuldigd in 1993 om de liefde in al haar vormen te vieren. In het midden staat het iconische beeld “El Beso” (De Kus), gemaakt door de beroemde Peruaanse kunstenaar Víctor Delfín, dat twee geliefden Vergrendeld in een eeuwige omhelzing portretteert. Rondom het beeld staan prachtig betegelde banken geïnspireerd op Antoni Gaudí’s Parc Güell in Barcelona, samen met levendige mozaïekwanden die een unieke artistieke touch toevoegen. Vanaf deze plek boven op de Miraflores kliffen geniet u van een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op Lima en de Stille Oceaan.
Daarna gaan we naar Barranco, Lima’s artistieke en bohemien wijk, waar u zult genieten van een aangename wandeling door de meest iconische en inspirerende hoekjes. Bewonder de levendige muurschilderingen, creatieve ruimtes en artistieke uitingen die Barranco zijn kleurrijke en trendy charme geven. Als u buiten deze gebieden verblijft, bieden wij u een ontmoetingspunt in de wijk Miraflores om de tour te beginnen. Geen luchthaven of Port (Callao gebied) pick-up / drop off inbegrepen. A lovely tour, gives a chance to see the nicest parts of Lima. As a bonus, there is a stop by an immense pre-Inca pyramid, with a quick history recap.

We spent most of our time in Barranco seeing the street art, historical places & monuments. We also got to Love Park in Miraflores. We had to cut the tour short for another engagement and didn't get to San Isidro area. Our guide was very knowledgeable but at times hard to understand.
