Minneapolis is een stad die diep geëngageerd is aan de kunsten, met een reeks kernwaarden die creativiteit, diversiteit en gemeenschap viert. Deze wandeltocht door het hart van Minneapolis is een perfecte mix van kunst en stadsleven. We lopen over de lengte van Nicollet Mall, een showcase van openbare kunst die het hart van de binnenstad transformeert in een openlucht galerie. Deze kilometerslange gang bevat een divers scala aan sculpturen en installaties die de cultuur en geschiedenis van de stad weerspiegelen. We zullen een mix van opmerkelijke gebouwen tegenkomen, zowel historische als moderne, die allemaal bijdragen aan het unieke karakter van de binnenstad. De Loring Greenway brengt ons naar Loring Park waar levendige waterpartijen, paviljoens en bronzen, abstracte en grillige sculpturen verblijven. Dan, op naar de Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, die grenst aan het Walker Art Center en beschikt over meer dan 40 sculpturen over 11 hectare! Inspiratie is overal!

Jessica was a really great guide to introduce us to Minneapolis. A well paced walking tour through the riverfront and downtown areas. Used the light rail to visit more of the city without adding to the time spent just walking. We have been on many walking tours and this was one of the best. If you want an excellent way to start a Minneapolis visit try this tour.

It was a great tour - friendly, informative, and it made us fall in love with a new city! We covered a good amount of ground and the tour guide was flexible when we wanted to stop or take a quick detour. Highly recommend!

Wonderful!!! Of course I would! We went to St Anthony Falls, Al Guthrie Theater which has a spectacular view! And of course to Prince's wall! I miss time to see more! And thank God with excellent weather! Calorcito 😁

Jessica gave me a very good one on one private tour at Minneapolis. She point out that Minnesota is leading states in wild rice producing.
