Tijdens deze 1-daagse tour zal uw lokale professionele gids uit Guilin u begeleiden tijdens uw wandeling naar de Longji rijstvelden en het bezoek aan de twee minderheidsdorpen. U geniet van het prachtige landschap van de terrasvelden vanuit verschillende hoeken en ontdek de lokale minderheidsculturen van de Zhuang en Yao volkeren.

Uw Gids wacht op u in de lobby van uw hotel of een andere aangewezen locatie op het afgesproken tijdstip, meestal 8.00 uur. Je wordt lid van een groep met niet meer dan 10 leden, wat een geweldige grootte is om ervoor te zorgen dat je geniet van een betere reiservaring. Longji Terraced Fields is gelegen in Longsheng county van Guilin stad, met betrekking tot 6 dorpen met een geschiedenis van meer dan 2000 jaar. De lokale Zhuang- en Yao-bevolking hebben deze bergachtige velden dag na dag en jaar na jaar bewerkt voor hun harde leven. Het oude Zhuang Village is de oorsprong van de terrassenvelden van het Zhuang-volk. De hoogste hoogte van het dorp is ongeveer 1.300 meter terwijl de laagste hoogte hier 350 meter is. De terrassenvelden hier zien er schitterend uit! Na het bewonderen van het prachtige terrasvormige veldlandschap in het uitzichtpunt van Slender Ditch wandelt u naar een ander beroemd dorp - Ping'an Village vanaf hier. Deze wandeling duurt ongeveer 1 uur om ongeveer 8 kilometer afstand af te leggen.
Na de lunch start u een bezoek aan het beroemdste dorp in Longji – Ping’an Village. Je ziet de mooiste en mooiste terrasvormige velden landschap in Longji! In dit dorp zijn veel wereldbekroonde foto's gemaakt. Na een bezoek aan het Seven Star with Moon viewpoint interviewen we een oude Yao dame met lang haar die uit een ander dorp in de buurt komt om een andere etnische groep te ontdekken – de Yao mensen met rode kleding en hun gekenmerkte langhaar cultuur voor vrouwen. In hun cultuur laten meisjes hun haar maar twee keer in hun hele leven knippen. Na het interview met de Yao dame, ga je naar het mooiste uitzichtpunt – Negen Draken en Vijf Tijgers. Dit uitzichtpunt is absoluut het meest hoogtepunt van de dag! Tijd : 16 : 00–18 : 00, Rij terug naar Guilin of Yangshuo De reis eindigt na een bezoek aan het uitzichtpunt van Negen Draken en Vijf Tijgers. Je wordt veilig afgezet bij je hotel in Guilin of Yangshuo.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De hotel- en afzetgebieden bevinden zich in de stedelijke gebieden van Guilin en Yangshuo. In de stad Guilin moet de hotel- en drop-off-zone binnen het volgende gebied liggen: de noordkant is Beijiguangchang / 北极 广场, de westkant is West Hill Park / 西山 公园, de oostkant is Sanlidian Square / 三 里 店 广场 en de zuidkant is Wonderful Plaza / 万福 广场. De meeste van de grote hotels bevinden zich in deze gebieden, zoals The Sheraton Hotel, The Shangri-la Hotel, The Li River Waterfall Hotel en Guilin Bravo Hotel enz. Voor verdere afstanden, moet u een taxi huren bij het aangewezen hotel, dat uw reisleider u de dag vóór de reis zal vertellen.

- In Yangshuo stad, het hotel collectie en drop-off gebied moet worden binnen het stedelijk gebied. Voor verdere afstanden moet u een taxi huren naar het Green Lotus Hotel (碧莲江景酒店).

Ellen was an incredible tour guide and the driver was great also! Booking this was super easy and the pick up and drop off at all the locations was very smooth. Ellen was very informative about everything and enriched my experience. She took me to places where there were not many tourists to get a local feel. Fantastic adventure trip. Highly recommended. My tour guide was very well-read and super friendly. A people-oriented experience. Culturally, there was a lovely show in the Longhair Village that explained the tradition.

Trip got cancelled the night before the Trip. I booked 3 weeks in advance. Not recommended. You can find another, better Guide.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation due to the insufficient number of participants as well as the increased prices of guides and transportation during China's National Day holiday. We have been working hard to resume group tours, but with the ongoing situation, it has been challenging to gather enough participants. Additionally, the cost of individual tours with a private guide and vehicle can be more than double the cost of group tours, which is why it was not recommended to you. We loved the whole trip with our great German speaking guide Julia. Just the three off us wandering through the fields and enjoying the magnificent scenery. Another highlight was the lunch prepared for us by a local farmer family, very friendly people and delicious food prepared from fresh ingredients. Overall, a great day out.

During harvesting and photos taken from cable car. We wish we could help up with the farmers but it was raining. During harvest now, it resemble gold field. I would expect the growing will be all green which is a different beauty altogether.

Full day with a group of 5 accompanied by our superb guide Sharon. The landscapes are beautiful (we were there mid-September = before the rice harvest). Not too crowded and we were as close to the premises thanks to our guide (Sharon) who knows the place very well and its inhabitants.
Our Guide Lily was very friendly and helpful. Her english was excellent and she told us very interesting things about the arey. The landscape was amazing. We had bamboo rice and other meat and vegeables wich was very delicious. We had lots of fun preparing the bamboo rice. Our children 8 and 11 had much fun walking trough this beautiful landscape. We loved wearing the rice hats.

Even if the weather does not contribute it’s impossible to not enjoy the journey. The history and fields are amazing! A once and only lifetime experience! Lily our tour guide was exceptional :) very receptive, friendly and told us every single detail about everything! The lunch at the farmers house was awesome and also delicious! I had a excellent time!
We were lucky, in addition to us there was only one more person with us on the tour, which made the tour even more enjoyable. First it seemed as if the weather would spoil the tour for us. But our guide Lily had a good instict or experience regarding the schedule of the tour. So we were able to have some fog-free views on the terraces between the rainy sections what made the experience even a little mystical. We also liked the look into a typical house and how they made paint out of leaves. And last but not least the great lunch we had, definitely one of the best we had during our complete journey. So this tour was an absolute highlight on our journey, 100 percent recommendation. I only want to add that the described schedule on this website is more like a rough idea of the tour, which isn´t a problem. More important for me is to have a great experience with a guide that can react on the given circumstances. And that was absolutely given.
This was a great tour. The rice terraces are spectacular no matter what the season. A great view of village life. Great food! A word of warning though: The road is a rough drive up the mountain, so if you have a bad back, consider giving this tour a miss.
