Tijdens deze dagtour wordt je meegenomen naar het bos om het kleine en bescheiden maar magische en gedenkwaardige Minca-dorp te ontmoeten. Je komt in contact met de natuur tijdens een wandeling naar watervallen en je krijgt de kans om de beroemdste goederen van Colombia te proberen: koffie, na een bezoek aan een boerderij. Onze chauffeur en onze gids halen u 's ochtends op en brengen u in minder dan een uur naar dit dorp. Eenmaal daar begint het avontuur van de hele dag. Minca is een prachtig klein stadje in de buurt van Santa Marta, weg van de kust en halverwege de weg naar de Sierra Nevada. Het staat bekend als de Colombiaanse ecologische hoofdstad vanwege de prachtige natuurlijke landschappen die dit soort toerisme bevorderen. Als je naar deze plek komt, draait het allemaal om het loskoppelen van de technologie en het opnieuw verbinden met de natuur. Hier wordt u eerst begeleid naar de koffieboerderij La Victoria, een van de pioniers op het gebied van de koffieteelt in Colombia. Je krijgt de kans om de boerderij rond te toeren en meer te weten te komen over alle processen waar koffie deel van uitmaakt, vanaf het allereerste begin totdat het de kop koffie wordt die je zeker zult proeven. De koffiesoorten van Sierra Nevada staan bekend als niet alleen uniek maar ook voortreffelijk, dus voel je gelukkig als je ze proeft.
Je zult genieten van een traditionele lunch (niet inbegrepen) om op te laden en je hebt wat tijd om uit te rusten voordat je je avontuur beëindigt. Ten slotte wordt u begeleid naar twee van de meest ontspannende plekken in Minca. Pozos Azules (Blue Wells) en watervallen zijn beide natuurlijke formaties vastgemaakt aan de bergen en met zoet en koud water. Op beide plaatsen krijgt u de kans om uzelf op te frissen voordat u terugkeert naar uw hotel.

Loved the waterfalls. Coffee farm fine but you could skip it.

A beautiful and magical place recommended 100% we were through a tour enjoying this beautiful place the water is very cold but it is super rich I recommend you bathe something 100% natural

We really enjoyed the coffee tour and waterfalls. We were surprised when our guide, Alexis, said that we had to pay for lunch. The description said lunch is included. Maybe, if lunch isn’t paid for, the description should say lunch available.

Rating this 2 stars only because of our tour guide Jorge and our driver were charming and made the best out of this situation. Myself and 3 friends took this trip because it was a private coffee tour and we were excited to see the largest waterfall in the area, Markina. I booked the 11am option since we had a wedding the day before and was not aware of any changes that would have made when I booked 2 weeks prior to the excursion. The company reached out to me the night before during the wedding, asking for passport information and explaining lunch might be later. Which I thought was already poor communication that they waited last minute to ask us and plan this out. We get to the coffee farm, which was beautiful but not private at all. We had about 8-10 other people with us on our tour. It made it difficult to hear over everyone else talking and it was crowded. We were then told after the coffee tour, we would not have time for the Markina waterfall since it closes at 4pm. It was never communicated prior to the trip that the waterfall closes at a certain time, if I knew this we would have booked an earlier time or have cancelled this excursion. We ended up going to another waterfall which was small and crowded. After Jorge took us out for an amazing lunch and we had a great time getting to know him and more about Colombia. Disappointed in Gran Colombia Tours. Please do not book a later time if you want to see the Markina waterfall and be aware the coffee tour is not private. Also ask for Jorge to be your guide!

This private tour picked us up in Playa Dormida before heading out for the day. We started off going to Minca and Mayrinka. The walk to the waterfalls was a little cooler than Tayrona but still plenty hot. That made it even better to cool off in the amazing waterfalls. Then, after a traditional lunch, we went to Hacienda Victoria to a coffee tour. It was so cool to see the machines still operating after 130 years! The coffee was very good too.

Super interesting tour at La Victoria with lot of explanations on the entire coffee making process. Afterwards we did a hike through the nature to discover a beautiful waterfall. The great experience ended with a very nice lunch in a lovely setting where we could enjoy the scenery. Our guide Andrea was fantastic: very knowledgeable and super friendly!!! Also kudos for our driver Juan, the roads in Minca are quite challenging :-)
