Deze roadtrip is de perfecte manier om het eiland te verkennen. Uw familie of een groep van uw vrienden zullen de tijd van hun leven hebben, terwijl onze chauffeur u meeneemt naar kosmopolitische of afgelegen stranden, traditionele dorpen, musea en archeologische bezienswaardigheden, natuurlijke wonderen, grotten en geologisch - vulkanische bezienswaardigheden.

Onze tour begint vanuit het oude THEATER van Milos, gelegen aan de oostkant van de smalle ingang van de Golf van Milos, tussen de moderne dorpen Tripiti en Klima, uitkijkend naar de grootste natuurlijke haven van de Middellandse Zee. Later, als we langs het gebied gaan waar het standbeeld VENUS VAN MILOS werd ontdekt en nu het museum van het Louvre in Parijs, Frankrijk siert.
We bezoeken de CATACOMBS van Milos, die wereldwijd het op een na opmerkelijkste prechristelijke monument zijn, in navolging van Rome, waardoor Milos in 2014 een heilig eiland werd uitgeroepen, waardoor het een World Pilgrimage Center werd en het imago van ons land als een focus van globale, spirituele uitstraling.
Vervolgens bezoeken we het FOLKLORE en het ARCHAEOLOGISCH MUSEUM in de hoofdstad van het eiland Plaka, om meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis en het traditionele leven van het eiland, evenals een wandeling door de smalle straatjes van het dorp met talloze kleine winkels, eindigend bij MARMARA, de binnenplaats van de kerk van Panagia Korfiatissa, genietend van het majestueuze uitzicht vanaf de meest geweldige plek om foto's te maken op het eiland.
We vervolgen met een kort bezoek in MANDRAKIA, een schilderachtig vissersdorp met 2 kleine dokken die Milos typische "Syrmata", kleurrijke - ondergrondse gebouwen huisvesten - ruimtes waar vissers hun boten bewaarden.
Een stop bij de beroemde Sarakiniko, de witte vulkanische rotsen die destijds zijn gebeeldhouwd.
Vervolgens ontmoeten we aan de noordkant van het eiland de archeologische vindplaats van de prehistorische stad FYLAKOPI, de belangrijkste stad van de prehistorische Egeïsche Zee, waar tekenen zijn dat daar mensen woonden vanaf de vroege dagen van de bronstijd (rond Daarna ontspannen we en genieten we van een stop in POLLONIA, de bekendste toeristische bestemming van het eiland, die toeristenboten aantrekt en Milos met Kimolos verbindt.

The guide was local to the area who was very knowledgeable and kind. He was fluent in both English and Greek. The tour gave us a great sense of the island. The only consideration for improvement would be to advise customers of the archeological closings on the island on Tuesday’s prior to booking. We were not able to see the Catacombs, nor the Archeological Museum which was rather disappointing.
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Milos Experience on the “Archaeological and Cultural Experience” tour. Our tour guide, Nikos, was truly exceptional. His deep knowledge of the history, culture, archaeology, and traditions of Milos made the entire experience incredibly engaging and authentic. You could immediately feel his passion for the island and the pride he has in sharing its heritage with visitors. The tour itself was beautifully organized and offered a unique opportunity to discover the real Milos beyond the usual tourist attractions. Every stop had meaning, every story was fascinating, and Nikos made the island come alive through his explanations and personal insights. If you are visiting Milos and want a genuine cultural experience filled with history, local traditions, and hidden gems, this tour is an absolute must. Interesting tour of Milos. Visited catacombs, villages and beautiful beaches. The old stadium was amazing to see. Bakery stop was tasty.

Traveled to Milos and was greeted by Mr Michalis who was an absolute gentleman. He made us feel right at home in Milos and even gave us some advice on good restaurants to visit, where to travel on the island and was always available for any questions we had! Efharisto Mr Michalis!
Nickolas was an EXCELLENT guide. He was VERY knowledgeable about Milos. He has lived on the island for over 30 years. He was very personable. He spoke good English. His tour included some surprises. He interacted well with driver. The driver was WONDERFUL … we felt very safe. We had a short time on Milos and wanted to see as much of the island as possible. They were flexible and accommodating
I really appreciated the tour, as they took me quite last minute and made some accommodations for me being a solo traveler without a car. I explained to them everything I wanted to see and they arranged a really beautiful custom experience for me! I learned so much, my guide was so friendly, as was the driver, and I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Milos at any time of year! They were super flexible! And gave a great impression of Milos that didn’t feel overly touristic
The two tour guides were super cute and gave us really good information about the main attractions visitable by road. We lucked out and had no other groups joining us and the tour was catered to our preferences. Had a fantastic time - highly recommend!
We had the most awesome visit with a guide who was just as awesome. We got to see the catacombs, the moon rock beach and had lunch at an awesome restaurant. Can’t wait to go back to Milos in 2023.
We had a wonderful day with Christos touring the island! He was so very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the place, and very personable. We saw Catacombs, Sarakiniko, the Ancient Theater, Klima, a few other beaches, and had an awesome lunch in Pollonia right on the water. Thanks again Christos and Milos Experience.
