Gehost in het huis van een echte chef-kok — geen commerciële kookschool. Deze ervaring is ontworpen om persoonlijk te voelen, niet geënsceneerd. Je zit niet in een klaslokaal met individuele stations, maar in een echt huis waar alles samen gebeurt, net als in Italië. Ik ben een getrainde chef-kok met ervaring in professionele keukens, en de focus ligt hier niet alleen op het volgen van recepten, maar op het begrijpen van techniek — zodat je daadwerkelijk kunt recreëren wat je leert. We werken met zorgvuldig geselecteerde ingrediënten, vermijden snelkoppelingen en houden de groep klein om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen betrokken is. Het is een balans tussen professioneel koken en een ontspannen, gastvrije sfeer — meer als koken met een vriend die precies weet wat hij doet.

Rafael was so welcoming and knowledgeable! Sharing his family history and perspective on ingredients elevated this above an ordinary cooking class. The pasta and tiramisu were so good, I am still thinking about them. Rafael also made an effort to connect with each of us personally based on our interests and where we were from. I was traveling solo and felt very welcome in his home and in the group. I highly recommend!
Wonderful evening w Rafael for our family. Hands on, casual, and informative evening learning about Italian cooking techniques and ingredients. We enjoyed some wine, great food, and Rafael's hospitality. He's very knowledgeable, fun, and great to hang out with. Was one of the highlights of our Milan visit. Chef Rafael made our day! We are a close friend/family group of seven. He made us feel at home, had everyone involved and laughing. This experience is a do not miss if you visiting Milan. The way he connected the food with his life experiences~ really made us feel connected. He educated us on everything, right down to eggs! The food we all Cooked together was amazing~ some of the best pasta and tiramisu we have ever had. We are absolutely purchasing a pasta machine when we arrive back in Boston. Chef Rafael also shared his recipes~ so we can recreate the day over again with friends!
