Tijdens onze Secret Food Tour: Atlanta ontdek je een stad van de toekomst met sterke banden met het verleden. Onze ervaren gidsen verwelkomen je op een heerlijke reis door de hoofdstad van het Zuiden, waar je uit de eerste hand zult zien waarom we bekend staan als het toonbeeld van echte zuidelijke gastvrijheid. Dit is tenslotte de thuisbasis van Coca-Cola, de Braves, en het beste eten dat je ooit in je mond zult stoppen! Serieus, onze keuken voelt als een warme knuffel voor de ziel (daarom noemen we het soulfood!) en we kunnen niet wachten om het met je te delen. Van specialiteiten uit het zuiden, zoals kip en wafels, tot internationale lekkernijen zoals yuccafrietjes, we hebben voor ieder wat wils. Dus kom binnen, spreek een spreuk uit en maak je klaar om erin te duiken terwijl we enkele verhalen delen over 'The City Too Busy To Hate'.

Dit klassiek elegante hotel staat bekend als 'The Grand Dame' van Peachtree Street in Atlanta en ligt aan de overkant van het Fox Theatre. Hier verbleven de cast en crew van Gone With the Wind toen de film hier in december 1939 in première ging.

Reuben was a great tour guide! Very friendly, and the food was all delicious! Light along the way and finished with bang filled ending. Would definitely recommend for anyone else traveling through ATL!

Our guide Ryan was genuine and very sweet. She made conversation and seemed to personally know all the restaurants’ owners and staff. The food was interesting and every dish unique. It is not a loop food tour but its all on the same road and even in Georgia’s July heat it was all in the shade and comfortable. My only critique would be more historical information would have been nice. Atlanta has very interesting history and we only got a few stops in front of historical markers. Also we parked in a public parking spot 881 peachtree which was 17.00 for all day and was in the middle of our walk it worked out nicely. Do it… you’ll enjoy the food and the company.

The end location is far from where the tour starts, and also worth mentioning - the peach waffle included in the advert is no longer included in the food tour, but aside from that it was a great experience, really good food selections.

So what could have been just a wonderful dining experience trying tastes at 6 different restaurants in Midtown turns out was so much more. What made it extra special was our wonderful guide Reuben, taking us on an adventure thru the culinary tastes and culture of Midtown. Reuben made this tour extra special. Our wonderful host was funny, informative, and very interesting. Then we get to the food. Wow, some of the best tastings. I would take this tour again even knowing the places I would go!
