Dit is premium wijntouring met kleine groepen op zijn best! Onze zeer kleine groepen hebben maximaal 6 gasten en we vertrekken regelmatig met minder. We bezoeken premium wijnhuizen en betalen de proeverijkosten, zodat u de beste wijnen van de regio kunt proberen. Er is geen vaste route dus elke dag is anders. Wij kennen de beste wijnhuizen, vertrouw op uw lokale gids om de perfecte dag te creëren. Enkele van onze favoriete wijnhuizen zijn Rockford, Langmeil, Rusden, Torbreck, Tomfoolery, Two Hands, Elderton, Gibson - en nog veel meer! Lunch is een speciaal menu samengesteld door de chef-kok, die een scala aan gerechten voor iedereen om te delen zal bevatten. Geniet van een glas lokale wijn of bier als perfecte aanvulling op uw seizoensgebonden lunch. Let op: we bezoeken geen massaproductie wijnhuizen zoals Wolf Blass of Jacobs Creek om wijn te proeven, noch brouwerijen, jeneverstokerijen, kaaswinkels, Maggie Beers, etc - Dit is een gespecialiseerde wijntour, geen algemene sightseeingtour van de Barossa.

Begin uw dag door rond 09:15 uur opgehaald te worden bij uw Adelaide CBD accommodatie in een luxe tourvoertuig. Onderweg naar het eerste wijnhuis zal uw wijngids u vertrouwd maken met de regio en haar wortels, samen met de andere belangrijkste wijnproducerende regio's van Adelaide. Na een ontspannen 60 minuten rijden kom je aan in wijnland, waar je premium wijn kunt proeven van de beste boutique producenten onder leiding van gepassioneerde en deskundige lokale bevolking. De bezochte wijnhuizen kunnen de prachtige Murray Street Vineyard, historische Langmeil, of bewaarders van de "Command" wijngaard in Elderton om er maar een paar te noemen omvatten. Uw gids kiest wijnhuisbezoeken, zodat u een goede selectie premium wijnen kunt proberen die de verschillende wijnsoorten, stijlen en persoonlijkheden van de regio echt vertegenwoordigen.
Na de tweede wijnmakerij van de dag is het tijd om te lunchen in een van de beste restaurants van de regio. Leun achterover en geniet van een heerlijke restaurantlunch bij een van onze fantastische restaurantpartners. Geniet van een glas lokale wijn of bier als perfecte aanvulling op uw seizoensgebonden lunch.
Na de lunch ga je naar een toeristische locatie om je benen te strekken en de regio meer te verkennen, voordat je eindigt bij je laatste wijnachtige. Uw Gids zal een laatste wijnmakerij hebben uitgezocht om de eerste helft van de dag aan te vullen of te contrasteren. We eindigen de dag meestal met een aantal zware Shiraz, die te vinden zijn bij wijnhuizen zoals Torbreck, Two Hands, Greenock Creek, samen met vele andere opties. Aan het einde van de tour wordt u rond 17:15 uur terug naar uw accommodatie vervoerd, samen met alles wat u overdag hebt gekocht.

We had a wonderful day visiting a number of fabulous vineyards with a great group of people. All the wineries were so generous with their wines and we ended up buying a few of our favourites. Lunch was amazing and we would recommend this tour wholeheartedly.

Had a great tour with Matthew. We ended up as the only two on the tour so had a private tour experience. Visited three great wineries each with excellent wines. The lunch was also delicious with a very generous selection of food and drinks. We even got to meet and do a tasting with the winemaker at our last stop! Great value for money and worth the extra compared to other group tours to visit a higher caliber of wineries and get a true experience of the Barossa.

Matthew selected some great wineries to visit, two were very good & one was exceptional for our personal palate - thank you. Lunch was tasty & plentiful + Matthew was friendly & very informative in between tastings. A very enjoyable day all round.

On our shared group tours we always like to showcase the diversity of the region, by taking you to producers with differing styles of winemaking. Matt was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. The tour was enjoyable, and the surroundings were gorgeous. The lunch was a feast for our eyes and palate. Though not Matt’s fault, of the three wineries, two were not very personable, which made experiencing their wines less enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our day and the tour.
Thanks for the feedback Barbara. We always monitor our winery partners for quality service, so it's news to hear that a couple weren't up to scratch. I'll be having my guides report back on all three wineries in future to see if this was a once off, if there are new staff that require some training, or if it was just an off day. Absolutely amazing wine tasting day. Our guide Tom was brilliant, very well informed, friendly and professional. The tour included a beautiful lunch and all of the vineyards were welcoming. Highly recommend.

Matt was a great tour guide to Barossa. He has an excellent knowledge of wines and the area. He chose a variety of smaller wineries but where we also would have the opportunity to likely access them in the US. The small group (we were 5) was perfect as our tastings were personalized. We had to stay on schedule but didn't seem too rushed.
Hi there, great to hear you had a lovely day out with "the other" Matt. He's such a passionate and knowledgeable guide, I love that it comes across to our guests. We aim to give our guests just under an hour at each winery, and about 75 minutes for lunch. We've found it's enough time to have a relaxed experience, but we do need to move on once we're done. Some other operators try to cram in 5 or 6 wineries, and o have no idea how the would do that - their groups would be incredibly rushed all day long! Sometimes less is more. A excellent tour just four of us with driver and guide Paul. Lots of history of Adelaide and the Barossa on the way up. We were completely unaware of the German History beforehand. Visited four Wineries including Yalumba (our favourite Viognier) and three smaller ones. Great range of wines to try with some surprises including a sparking Shiraz.
