Michael Jackson ONE door Cirque du Soleil® in het Mandalay Bay Resort en Casino

Not for me and not what I expected. Music was loud but sound system had an annoying buzz. Seemed like the same acts over and over and over again. Bouncing off of trampolines. Dancing not that great. I thought about half the music selection was poor. Cirque show is not for me. I wanted to see more Michael and less anime. Way too expensive. Save your money.

Unbelievable show - had an amazing time at this show, enjoyed every minute.

A freezing cold venue with loads of people just walking in half way through the performance. I’ve seen many Cirque du Soleil performances at the Royal Albert Hall and in holiday places but despite my excitement at the MJ connection I felt this lacked a tenuous storyline and the same level of “spectacular” acrobatics we have come to expect with Cirque du Soleil… disappointed and cold and lack of audience etiquette spoiled it somewhat.

I’d describe Michael Jackson ONE as a little concert, a little dance party, an impressive laser extravaganza, some cool drone flexing, and a little Cirque insanity—coupled with a FULL-ON sound display and a few “this is really worth it”-type moments. Before the show began, I have no idea how, but Human Nature audibly rippled across the theater in a way that “sounded” like fans doing the wave at an Orioles game in Camden Yards. This was the first clue that the sound system was legit; it was immersive, precise, and dramatic in a way that made the entire room feel alive before the show began. While I found most of the dancers good, many of them didn’t give me “I feel like I’m at one with an MJ-level tribute these people popped so hard” Vegas-caliber vibes. If I’m being honest, which, hey, this is a review and I appreciate honesty from reviewers…there were many times during the show that I was a bit distracted by the number of dancers that were giving, “I just kinda know the steps” vibes, which I wasn’t expecting; however, there WERE a few performers that oozed what I was looking for—the “I AM the choreography” love—and I’m grateful to them. Stranger in Moscow Dude? Um, yeah, there was a guy who artfully ascended what appeared to be a 200-foot-tall murder rope as My Boos (the sound engineers) bathed the audience in the haunting brilliance of this gorgeous song. Back to Stranger in Moscow Dude: I have no idea how someone could be so perfectly strong, yet delicate. I’m not sure I breathed or blinked the whole time you were performing…I was flat-out mesmerized and I’m grateful to have been a part of that. And MJ Glove Dude? I kept thinking how you oozed Bruno Mars-type star power. I was genuinely elated every time you hit the stage. Godspeed, buddy! If you love Michael Jackson music and you appreciate beautiful sound and light engineering with a few stage standouts, you will enjoy this show—period—full stop. IMO, the Vegas-level production team was the hero of this show. And then, when the moment called for it, they were like, "we humbly offer you the memory burn of this Greek god ascending a rope that’s taller than Mount Olympus like it’s the simplest thing he’s ever done while you hold your breath and make a mental note to check the program to see whether the dude’s name is actually Adonis." ***** BTW, I attended on June 21, 2026 at 9pm. I was in Section 102, Row Q, Seat 15, dead center…I counted the dots on Ticketmaster and everything! (I'm a Virgo and make no apologies for this :D ) I found this location to provide the perfect full-stage view. It was far enough back to where you could see the whole machine working, but still feel fully inside it. And, the perfection that is a show like this ALWAYS sets aside something special for the people looking directly ahead at it. I highly recommend this seat and I hope you enjoy the show!

This show is amazing! …the best moment was the hologram performance, it was almost like having Michael Jackson in person. We highly recommend this show.

We used a MGM rewards card when we booked these tickets at a booth in Luxor hotel . This saved us $40 per ticket . Great amazing show . For a great view don’t sit in the front stands as you will miss some of the Ariel stunts . Middle section best . You won’t be disappointed in the show we loved it best show ever.

The best experience we had in Vegas. Amazing show with incredible soundtrack. Performers were just simply brilliant. Worth every penny. If we had time we would go back again.

If you love the magic of Cirque du Soleil and are looking for a great Cirque flavored show, pass on this show. I love Cirque shows for the entirity of the performancwe - the integration of everyone who is part of the show, not just the performers of each "act" but also all of the support players being part of the show, and the almost always very unique individual acts.This is pretty much missing in this show. It is much more of a concert of covers of MJ's music with choreography. There is very little of the Cirque unique and very special presentation. The performers are pretty much all very good, but what makes a Cirque show really awesome just isn't happening here. Additionally, the audio is idiotically too loud. Literally, painfully loud. Ears still ringing 24 hours later too loud. I have seen Mystere 6 times, Love 3 times, Saltimbaco 3 times, Nouveau Experience 3 times, and several other Cirque shows 1 or 2 times each. I would not see this show again even if I was paid back for seeing it the first time and given free tickets to see it again

We have been fortunate to watch most of the Cirque shows. This was the most disappointing. I am a huge Michael Jackson fan and the music was great, but it felt like a high school play and not a $560.00 for two show. If I could demand a refund I absolutely would, and I NEVER do that kind of thing. I honestly am still stunned the was a Cirque du Soleil performance. Feeling very cheated
