Wist je dat Miami Beach grotendeels door de mens is gemaakt? En dat Biscayne Bay vroeger een ondiep moeras was? En dat Muhammad Ali hier in Miami Beach voor het eerst wereldkampioen boksen werd? De geschiedenis van Miami Beach zit vol met betoverende verhalen en ik heb het tot mijn missie gemaakt om deze verhalen tot leven te brengen door middel van uitgebreid onderzoek, boeiende verhalen vertellen en passie. Ik ben verheugd om een boeiende begeleide wandeling door het hart van Miami Beach aan te bieden, waar we ons zullen verdiepen in het veelbewogen verleden en de geschiedenis ervan in de loop van de tijd zullen herbeleven, wat echt vreemder is dan fictie. Onze reis voert ons langs iconische straten van South Beach en leidt ons door lobby's en daken van prachtige art-decohotels. Je krijgt inzicht in de vroege evolutie, de Grote Depressie, de unieke architectuur van de stad, de zwarte geschiedenis, de joodse geschiedenis, de Cubaanse migratie, het beruchte cocaïne-cowboytijdperk, de invloed van 'Miami Vice', de beruchte moord op Gianni Versace, tal van verborgen juweeltjes en nog veel meer.

This was one of the best tours I've ever taken. Damian brings Miami Beach history to life with an incredible mix of storytelling, architecture, culture, and local insight. What could have been a simple walk turned into a fascinating journey through more than a century of Miami Beach history.
