Our guide was excellent but we bought a tour for 10 people and they brought a car for 6 people!!! So we had to pay extra for Uber and taxi while moving around the city!!
Jaime was amazing and I got a private tour. Guadalajara is a beautiful and safe place for all to see art.
The highlight of our trip to Guadalajara was the +4-hour private Muralism Cultural Tour with Luis. Luis has an in-depth knowledge of interpreting the symbolism found in the great murals painted by Jose Clemente Orozco. Only in a private tour of this nature would you be able to take the time to observe, ask questions, and patiently take in the magnificence of the individual murals. Luis speaks excellent English, and it was a delight to share his enthusiasm as he took us on a stunning tour of the beautiful historical and architectural buildings (and art!) in the centre of the city.
<p>I always like to start off my visit to a city with a walking tour. If you are in to art I highly recommend this and our guide only does tours with up to 3 I believe so you will be able to hear what he says.</p>
<p>We were overly pleased with our tour guide Louis, his knowledge of the artist as well as the history and how the murals were an integral part of Mexican history. Louis has lived all over the world, speaks wonderful English as well as other languages and is more than willing to help all of us appreciate the wonderful city of Guadalajara, his home city. His knowledge of Mexican food, best restaurants at very reasonable prices adds to our wonderful experience.<br/> Pat and Carole Kelso</p>
<p>Both the guide and tour were excellent. Having a guide explain the history and art of the murals and the joining us for a tour of the old colonial part of Guadalajara was perfect. Two in one!</p>
