Meteora Dagtocht met centrale Pick-up & optionele Lunch

I had the best day and would really recommend this trip. Out guide Frederiki was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. The Meteora monasteries and the rock formations around We’re breathtakingly beautiful. Despite there being a coach load of people, she made sure everyone had a good day and was really clear with instructions for return times. There were enough stops on the journey that it didn’t feel too much despite being a long day out.

Great experience and good value for money. Trip was very well organised with staff cooperating from the start early morning to the very end back in Athens. Be aware it's an all day tour, with at least 4h drive each way. Because it's far from Athens, you will not be able to stay too long in any of the monasteries, which is understandable. You enter 2 monasteries which was enough for me + you stop at others to take photos. Lunch at the restaurant was good, nothing special, but good portion and definitely worth paying extra. Be aware that you need to be fit to reach monasteries by stairs/slopes. I saw people struggling a lot with those, so it's not for everyone. The only minus was the group size. A bit overcrowded, even though full big coach was provided, every single seat was occupied, including 5 tight seats at the very back, which wasn't very comfortable for such a long trip. In overall, great trip and would definitely recommend.

This is a really long day and although the monasteries are spectacular, it would be better to do when you are in the area. Guide was knowledgeable and everything went smoothly with pick up.

Admission fee was reasonable and felt worthwhile considering the overall experience. The length of visit: was a full-day tour, there was plenty of time to explore and enjoy the different sights without feeling overly rushed. This was also reflected in the atmosphere as it was relaxed, enjoyable, and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant. The crowd size was a packed bus but was manageable, and I never felt too overwhelmed or rushed during the tour. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the experience. I also appreciated that handheld devices were provided so we could listen to the tour in our respective languages. Would I recommend the tour? I would recommend this tour for first-time visitors, tourists, couples, families, and anyone who wants to see the main attractions efficiently while learning about the sights along the way. However, because it was a full-day tour, the lack of charging outlets became a bit of a barrier, especially when trying to capture photos and videos to preserve memories of the day. It would be a great improvement if the company provided a power bank for each customer to use during the tour and return at the end, similar to how the handheld audio devices were provided for the tour commentary in our respective languages. This would make the experience even more convenient for visitors.

The views were unlike anything I’ve ever seen! If you have time for a day trip from Athens, I would highly recommend it! Our guides were great!

Overall tour was excellent! Guide that came on the bus at Kalabaka was excellent. Only suggestion is that the pick ups are and times are more clearly stated. It was confusing.

Journey is maybe little longer by bus but it is amazing experience and lunch way great.

Excellent trip. Only criticism was too rushed sometimes. 50 mins for lunch. 45 per monastery. If your not good on your feet it was a rush. Maybe see less, but with more time. Eva, our guide was absolutely lovely, as were both drivers. Costas and George. Eva offered to take photos of us together. Great service with constant smiles 😃

I definitely liked the meteors, but unfortunately we didn't spend much time there. Guide Eva was very nice and helped take photos at the stops. Lunch at a restaurant is unnecessary, it takes a whole hour of travel time when there is a stop on the way from Athens to Meteora and back where you can buy food. I would rather spend this extra hour among the rocks. And of course, a huge number of tour buses, they could somehow regulate the visiting times of the monasteries among themselves.
