Op slechts een klein eindje rijden van Melbourne kunt u genieten van 3 uur sneeuwspel — bouw een sneeuwpop, probeer spannende rodelbanen (toegang met kaartje vereist), wandel door met sneeuw bedekte paden of verken schilderachtige langlaufroutes. Geen liften of transfers nodig – wij brengen u rechtstreeks naar de sneeuw! Na uw alpine avontuur bezoekt u de spectaculaire Steavenson Falls in Marysville, een van de hoogste watervallen van Victoria. Trakteer uzelf dan bij de Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, met handgemaakte chocolademelk, romig ijs of een warme chocolademelk om op te warmen. Maak je klaar - ons avontuur begint snel! De bus is onderweg, dus pak je spullen, voel de spanning en laten we gaan! We vertrekken rond 8:00 uur vanuit Melbourne city, voor een leuke dag in de sneeuw.
Als onderdeel van de ervaring hebben gasten de mogelijkheid om de lokale bevolking te ondersteunen en iets te kopen voor de lunch bij Beechworth Bakery in Healesville of terwijl ze op de berg zijn (op eigen kosten van de gast).
Lake Mountain biedt de perfecte mix van avontuur en ontspanning, met charmante chalets, panoramisch uitzicht op de top, en een gastvrije, gezinsvriendelijke sfeer. Of je nu met je vrienden de rodelheuvel af racet of gewoon van de alpenpracht geniet, het is een sneeuwdag die je niet snel zult vergeten. Met drie uur om de berg te verkennen, kunt u het winterplezier omarmen zoals u dat wilt : genieten van een rustige sneeuwwandeling, glijden over langlaufloipes, een sneeuwpop bouwen of van de rodelbanen afzoemen. (Let op : voor toegang tot de Village en Mini rodelbanen is een kaartje vereist.)
Vervolgens jagen we watervallen na – en niet zomaar! Maak je klaar om versteld te staan van de torenhoge Steavenson Falls in Marysville, een van Victoria's hoogste en meest spectaculaire watervallen!
Tijdens de schilderachtige reis naar Lake Mountain Alpine Resort passeert u de beroemde Yarra Valley, een regio die bekend staat om zijn wijnhuizen en gastronomische producten.
Stop bij de Yarra Valley Chocolaterie en Ice Creamery om je smaakpapillen te laten tintelen. De perfecte manier om de dag af te sluiten is met een heerlijk zachte warme chocolademelk of wat van hun lokaal geïnfuseerde ijs op smaak gebracht met ingrediënten die rechtstreeks uit de moestuin komen. Voor wie nog nooit op een besneeuwde bestemming is geweest, is dit een uitstekende winterwonderland-ontsnapping.

- Hoewel u uw eigen langlaufski's of sneeuwschoenen mag meenemen, moeten deze voor aankomst buiten het terrein (bijvoorbeeld in Marysville) worden gehuurd of gekocht. Lake Mountain biedt alleen kleding en snowboots
- Let op: er worden dit seizoen geen skilessen aangeboden op de berg

Unfortunately tours to this destination should only commence when there is actually snow . We were stuck at the lodge for 3 hrs with nothing to do as it was raining all day and unfortunately no snow . The artificial snow was very hard and only enough room for a handful of kids to toboggan as for adults unfortunately nothing to do . The lodge was like a dormitory seating set up , no comfortable seating or wood fire if you wanted a hot chocolate or coffee . Meals very overpriced, the bus and driver were good and the waterfall was lovely . Considering the title of tour had “snow” in it I definitely think it should only run when there is active snow fall . Would not go back to Mountain Lake even if it did snow I think it’s more set up for school excursions

Check whether first, it rains whole day, no snow. Graham drive was excellent. We where disappointed, but you can't pick whether. waterfall was beautiful and my husband loved bakery.

Excellent day well thought out with lots of stops and activities. The bus driver was very informative and very polite. The Fall were amazing morning tea great. The resort was very picturesque must do toboggan ride as it’s the highlight of the trip. Then to finish off a perfect day you can’t beat ice cream and chocolates. An awesome day

The whole tour was brilliant. The waterfall was lovely. The snow was awesome. First time seeing and playing in snow and the chocolate shop was a great finish to a terrific day.

Excellent host, Lauren was genuine, helpful and naturally good with children. The snow was definitely the highlight, the other stops along the way were lovely aswell. Lauren’s playlist was very enjoyable.
