08.00 uur, ophalen en rijden naar My Tho. Tijdens een busrit van 2 uur naar My Tho heb je de kans om veel activiteiten van lokale mensen te zien terwijl je langs de weg reist en geniet van het mooie landschap van groene rijstvelden. Aangekomen bij My Tho, neem je een boot naar het Tan Thanh-kanaal, waar je helemaal kunt ontsnappen aan de drukke stad. De boottocht in het kokospalmenkanaal brengt je naar een klein eilandje. We stappen uit en maken een wandeling door het dorp. Geniet van tropisch fruit, proef honingthee, honingwijn en luister naar Vietnamese traditionele muziek, optredens van de dorpelingen. Loop verder op de dorpsweg en maak een ritje met een paard en wagen langs de dorpsweg. Stap uit voor een roeiboot in het kleine kanaal naar de motorboot en ga dan naar het restaurant op het andere eilandje. De lunch wordt geserveerd met speciaal Vietnamees eten bij een lokale familie. Na de lunch gaan we terug naar de boot en cruisen terug naar My Tho en rijden terug naar Saigon, waar we rond 17.00 uur in Saigon aankomen.

Betty was an amazing tour guide. We absolutely loved her! She definitely went above and beyond with local information for our downtime so we could explore by ourselves, as well as being so informative on our tours to Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta. She also travelled and assisted us with our Cambodia border crossing. Would love to have Betty as a tour guide on any future trips to Vietnam.

Betty was our tour guide for our time in Ho Chi Minh. We did a number activities such as the delta tour and cu chi tunnels. We have had lots of tour guides through our Vietnam travels but Betty was by far the best. Not only did she have a high level of knowledge and a great sense of humour, she always ensured our group was safe and supported. All of her recommendations were genuine and not about her getting commission for the places she was sending us. The tours themselves were amazing, especially unicorn island!
