Een soepele anderhalf uur durende busrit door het rijstveldenlandschap langs National Highway 1 brengt je naar de prachtige landelijke wijk Trung Luong. Bij aankomst in My Tho, na het bezoeken van de Vinh Trang-pagode, neemt u een motorboot om My Tho-stad binnen te gaan via het natuurlijke kanaal Bao Dinh. Maak een ontspannen cruise op de Tien-rivier om de vier prachtige eilanden te bekijken die bekend staan als de eilanden Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix en Tortoise. Geniet van een lunch in het plaatselijke restaurant, bezoek dan de kokosnoot-snoepfabriek en maak een geweldige roeiboottocht langs het kleine kanaal op een met de hand gerijpte sampan in de schaduw van de kokospalmen langs natuurlijke kanalen. Geniet vervolgens van seizoensfruit en honingthee op het geluid van 'Zuid-Vietnamese volksmuziek', uitgevoerd door de lokale bevolking. Ontmoet in de bus en keer terug naar Ho Chi Minh City. The trip was great and covered far more than expected. Vi, our guide, was an absolute delight in every sense of the word. The lunch was fantastic, again much more and better quality than expected. I also met some delightful people on the trip. I would recommend this company for any of there trips anyone maybe considering.

Wonderful full-day tour of the Mekong Delta with our guide, Bao. We had a fantastic experience exploring the Mekong Delta, and our guide Bao made the whole day feel smooth, interesting and personal. From the moment we were picked up, he was friendly, organised and shared so much insight into the local culture and way of life. The journey along the Express Trung Luong Highway was comfortable, and once we arrived, Bao guided us around the different islands of the Mekong — Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise. We learned a lot about the area and its traditions, and Bao made everything easy to follow and enjoyable. The boat rides were a real highlight, especially the small rowing boat trip through the narrow coconut-lined canals. It was peaceful, scenic and exactly the kind of experience you imagine when visiting the Mekong Delta. Bao kept everything well-paced, answered all our questions and made sure we saw the best parts without ever feeling rushed. A great full-day trip and a brilliant way to experience the traditional rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta. Highly recommend — especially with Bao as your guide.
We had a wonderful day with our guide Typhoon honey. He made us feel very welcome and entertained us with his humour. We chose a private tour, the transport was 5 star! Very comfortable and relaxed pace. Each activity we learned new things and tried and tasted the coconut candy, honey and healthy lunch. I recommend taking the tour and asking for our guide.

The trip was absolutely beautiful — peaceful boat rides, lush green scenery and friendly locals everywhere. We learned about local life, tasted delicious food and enjoyed the calm canals surrounded by palm trees.
