Deze tour is zeer geschikt voor alle mensen die graag het landelijke gebied van de Mekong Delta in Zuid-Vietnam bezoeken. Je bezoekt een aantal attracties zoals: Vinh Trang-tempel, Visit My Tho en Ben Tre, waar het hart van de Mekong Delta-regio is. Vaar op de motorboot langs de rivier de Tien, peddel langs de kleine grachten op een roeiboot.

Rond 07.45 uur. Laat je ophalen bij je hotel in het centrum van Ho Chi Minh-stad en ga naar de Mekong Delta. Tijdens de 1,5 autorit passeren we groene rijstvelden voordat we aankomen bij het prachtige landelijke My Tho. De eerste stop is de Vinh Trang-pagode. Het is de grootste pagode in de Mekong Delta-regio. Je wordt begeleid om de mooiste, oudste en belangrijkste tempel in de Mekong Delta te verkennen. Dit religieuze monument dateert uit de 19e eeuw en biedt een harmonieuze samensmelting van Vietnamese, Khmer en Chinese bouwstijlen.
Ga naar de nabijgelegen pier, waar je aan boord stapt van een traditionele Mekong Delta-boot voor een schilderachtige cruise op de Mekong-rivier. U passeert de Turtle, Dragon, Phoenix Islets en komt aan op het Unicorn Islet.
Terwijl u aan deze reis begint, zult u geboeid zijn door het weelderige groen en het bruisende rivierleven. Vervolg uw ontdekkingstocht door op een traditionele sampanboot door de smalle waterwegen te varen met kokospalmen langs beide zijden. Deze close-up ervaring stelt u in staat om het unieke ecosysteem en de lokale manier van leven te waarderen. Stop bij een bijenboerderij, proef honingthee, proef lokale vruchten en geniet van traditionele muziek uitgevoerd door de dorpelingen en leer over het dagelijks leven van de lokale bevolking. Geniet van een lokale lunch met Vietnamese gerechten (veganistisch eten beschikbaar)
Na de lunch maken we een boottocht naar Ben Tre - bekend als het kokoskoninkrijk - een charmant stadje dat beroemd is om zijn kokosnootplantages en fruitboomgaarden. U kunt een ontspannen fietstocht maken door het platteland. Leer meer over hoe kokosproducten in de regio worden geproduceerd. Rond 15.00 uur ga je terug naar Ho Chi Minh-stad. Aankomst ongeveer om 16.50 uur.

Vinh was our tour guide and he was exeptional. He gave us a lot of information on the bus trip down to the port telling us about the local history and way of life in Ho chi minh city. He made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. The boat trip was very good and coconut island was beautiful in general. Highly recommended for a day out! Thanks Vinh!
Mekong delta was pretty chaotic and jam packed. You’re only on there for 10 mins. Not made for big men. 2 hours to get there and 2 hours to get back. Food was decent. Coconut factory was cool. Tour guide was super nice. I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

The whole day was so much fun! From the temple to the islands, everything was very well organised & on time. Simon was an amazing tour guide. He was full of knowledge (& jokes) & always helpful. The only part I didn’t like was when we stopped to eat fruits. They are 2 pythons is a VERY VERY small cage for people to take photos with. The state of the cage was horrible. It is real animal cruelty. This is the only part of the your I didn’t like.
Our guide Dan (Phuc) was wonderful! He was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable about the different places we went to! We went as a 6 with 2 children under 9. The children particularly enjoyed holding the honeycomb boards, the rowboat to the coconut farm and were fascinated by the snakes in the snake wine! Our guide was good enough to answer all the children's questions and enjoyed showing them the live pythons and iguanas that were in the area. Well worth a trip. Would recommend.

The tour was very interesting in terms of discovery of the local people’s way of life and activities. Our tour agent Vinh was very helpful and professional as he. He started with the history of Saigon( Ho Chi Minh City) and tall about the the rice paddies and the tradition of verifying ancestors within the rice paddies. Through the tour he gave us a lot of information about the locals , their activities and way of life. He showed us and explained the different steps of making the coconut candies.
