Meet the Sea : Familie Boottocht naar het eiland Conillera

We cannot recommend Meet the Sea highly enough - by far, the absolute highlight of our holiday. Greg is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and he even rescued my sunglasses when they fell into the sea (sorry, and thank you again). My 10yo had the best time, he snorkeled, jumped off the boat, helped Carlos make the incredible paella - for him, it was an unforgettable experience. My 4yo was a little bit nervous but the team on board were so great with him, we managed to get him on a paddle board, in the sea, feeding fish, and he even got to toot the horn on the boat. For anyone thinking about it, I'd say don't hesitate, just book the trip. Thank you Greg and team, you are brilliant!

We really enjoyed our boat trip last week! Fab time was had by all. It was very clear from the start how passionate Greg was about what he does. It was great seeing the children so involved! We all learnt lots and we were so thrilled to see two star fish! Would 100% recommend to others.

We had the best time! We met at the port for 9:30 am and didn’t get back till around 2:30pm. We decided to book this tour as it’s kid friendly. Myself, husband and our 6 month old baby. She couldn’t join in the sea as was too small but she still loved it. There is plenty of shade for prams. Myself and husband took it in turns to join in on the tour, if not on the tour there was paddle boards to play with and can self snorkel around. All staff incredibly friendly and paella was delicious. Would defiantly recommend!

We all had an amazing time (2 adults, 13 Yr old and 8 Yr old) Greg and team were so lovely and put us all at ease. We are so glad we booked and will recommend it to anyone visiting the island and wants to snorkel in a fun and safe environment! 10/10 its deffo worth it!

Absolutely brilliant trip. Just 3 families on board so plenty of space to move around and Greg and the crew were amazing with everyone, Greg took anyone that wanted to go out snorkeling and showed them the reef. We tried paddle boarding and that was great fun. Paella was amazing. All in all a massive hit with our family. Definitely recommend.

If you’re considering booking with Meet the Sea, stop thinking and just do it. This was hands down one of the most educational, adventurous, and genuinely wonderful experiences we’ve had as a family. From the very beginning, it was clear that Greg, his wonderful mother, and the entire crew have a genuine passion for the ocean and for sharing their knowledge with others. Their enthusiasm is truly contagious, and you immediately feel welcomed by people who deeply care about marine life and inspiring others to love the sea as much as they do. What made the experience even more special was the warm, personal atmosphere. Rather than feeling like a typical tour, it felt like spending time with caring, knowledgeable friends who were excited to share their love for the ocean. The experience itself was fantastic for both adults and children. We learned so much while having an incredible adventure. My son was stoked until he had a rather dramatic encounter with a very tiny jellyfish. To hear his version of events, he had survived an attack worthy of a nature documentary. In reality, he got a liiiiiittle sting and was absolutely devastated. Now, here’s where the Meet the Sea team truly shined. They were incredibly kind, calm, and attentive. They took such wonderful care of him, despite the fact that he becomes extremely difficult to cheer up when he’s in pain or frightened. Somehow, through their patience, positivity, and genuine warmth, they managed to bring him back to life (figuratively speaking – although according to him, he had been moments from certain doom). Before long, we were all laughing about it, and we spent the entire journey back smiling and joking together. That, to me, says everything about this team. They don’t just provide an activity; they create an experience filled with learning, adventure, compassion, and joy. An absolutely fantastic experience for both big and small explorers. We left with new knowledge, wonderful memories, and a hilarious family story about “the jellyfish incident” that will undoubtedly be retold for years to come. A brilliant and informative experience. My almost 4 year old was engrossed in the discussion about the sea creatures etc. It's clear there's a real passion for the sea and for getting kids comfortable with the sea. The paella onboard was brilliant and the colouring and pirate hunt was a great extra addition for younger ones! I would definitely do this tour again.
