AMAZING experience and highly recommended. Your tickets get you a reduced entry fee to the village around the castle, I recommend going at least 1.5h early to experience all of the things to see. The tallest parts of the castle close at 4pm, so if you want to get all the way to the top, do that first, then go see everything else and circle back to the castle for supper. The food was exceptional. It’s always hit or miss with entertainment dinners about whether the food is any good. In this case I would have gone just for the food. It was resturant quality (just without the cutlery). Also, they were incredibly accommodation for my food allergies, which I was unsure of before going in. It means I didn’t have to skip any of the four courses, they just brought me something slightly different. The entertainment was wonderful. The music was exceptional, the singing magical, I really enjoyed the fiddler. You are sitting banquet style for the meal, which was also nice as I got to chat with both of my neighbours on either side. Overall, one of the most memorable moments of our trip. If you are considering going, stop and just book the tickets. Seriously. You won’t be disappointed. Did I mention unlimited wine and a mead tasting? Yeah!

The entertainment was wonderful, the musicians & singers were excellent. The food was piping hot and very good. The FAQs regarding the banquet states mead wine or water throughout but they weren’t keen on providing the mead saying it’s just a welcome drink. The wine was sharp and not easy to drink in my opinion. Couldn’t fault the food or entertainment. If mead isn’t allowed during the banquet this needs to be made clearer on the FAQs.

Very entertaining night. Lots of laughs & good food. We had the 8.30 sitting & enjoyed every aspect. The music, the singing & the stories were amazing.

This was such a fun evening in a beautiful setting. There was a lot of food so be prepared for that. The people acting their parts were terrific, talented musicians with beautiful voices.

We had so much fun. Food excellent as always. The entertainment is something we never forget. We will definitely be back.

Great dinner with entertainment! Definitely recommend. There are steep circular stairways to navigate. They do have handicapped access to the main dining room, but not all the levels

My wife and had a wonderful time meeting new people from all over the world. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing with the singing and entertainment from the performers. To have dinner in this amazing venue was just an absolute pleasure. Thank you to everyone who made the night a pleasure.

My husband, my three adult children, and I were looking to experience the history of an Irish castle. The medieval banquet at the Bunratty Castle surpassed our expectations! The castle is majestic and beautiful. The evening was so interactive and fun! The actors that portrayed the characters were so talented and engaging! The four course meal, including mead, was terrific! The evening was truly a highlight of our trip!
