The transportation was excellent. The driver was on time and was in contact with us the entire time the day before and until we landed from the airport. Very safe.

I was met at the airport by a friendly staff member with my name on a card. The operator texted me a photo of the vehicle and driver ahead of pickup, so I knew how to verify that I was getting in the right car. The driver was friendly and professional, and at no time did I feel unsafe on the trip.

The driver was safe and professional. I took this service from my hotel in El Poblano to JMC airport, and had no safety concerns at any time.

Booked this service specifically because it was advertised as VIP private airport transportation after a long international travel day. The actual experience was the complete opposite. I proactively messaged the company throughout the immigration process exactly as instructed so they could coordinate pickup timing. When we exited, nobody was actively waiting for us. There was only a sign attached to a post, and we were told the representative was assisting another customer and would return. We then waited over 20 minutes after clearing immigration while another group arriving after us was escorted first and ultimately left before we did. The company later admitted the driver, Jefferson, was delayed because he was handling another customer before our pickup. They also admitted the vehicle smelled strongly of marijuana because a prior passenger had smoked before entering the car. Unfortunately, the smell was overwhelming for the entire ride. This was not a premium private transfer experience. It felt disorganized, poorly coordinated, and nowhere close to what was advertised or paid for. The company offered a $10 refund and a discount on a future ride, which honestly only reinforced that they knew the service failed. After a long flight into a foreign country, the last thing you want is standing around waiting for transportation that is supposedly “VIP,” only to end up in a vehicle that smells heavily of weed. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for airport transportation in Medellín.

This is not the first time we've encountered a customer seeking a free transportation service. We sincerely regret that we were unable to grant your request. Please also clarify that we explained everything that happened. At no point did the driver leave the vehicle, and there was no one waiting for you. We explained that our representative was in the restroom, which is why someone else posted the sign at the exit, precisely so that when you, as the customer, came out, you would be reassured that someone was waiting for you. We also indicated in the instructions that the vehicle takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach the airport, which is the average time we are allowed to park. We clearly explained everything that happened and why the delay was 10 minutes longer than we promised. Unfortunately, misinformation reflects poorly on us, which is why we are sending this response. If a customer reads this, they might think the driver was smoking marijuana or something similar. We explained that the previous customer, before you, got into the vehicle and apparently had recently smoked marijuana, leaving the vehicle smelling of it. As you can see, we made a mistake in some areas, and as an honest company... As a responsible party, we accepted our responsibility by offering a $10 refund and a half-price discount on another booking. However, their intention was never to communicate their problems and seek a solution; their intention was to get the service for FREE, which is unacceptable. Remember that you must contact Viator, and we will present all our evidence because this comment is unacceptable. It damages our good reputation; we have over 70 reviews on our profile, and this is the first time something like this has happened with a user. Have a good day.
