Dit is de originele wandeltocht door Mdina en Rabat. Wij waren de eersten die het concept van wandeltochten in deze stad introduceerden. Maak een reis terug in de tijd met onze gidsen tijdens de Mdina Tour en bewonder de prachtige palazzo's en kerken in de unieke mix van middeleeuwse en barokke stijlen van de stad, evenals de spectaculaire panorama's vanaf de hoge bastionmuren. Leer meer over de kleurrijke geschiedenis van Mdina en de vele belegeringen die het heeft doorstaan, en bood onderdak en bescherming aan de Maltese bevolking tegen de frequente aanvallen van piraten. Luister naar het verhaal van hoe de Maltese opstand tegen de Fransen in 1798 begon. Another fantastic tour with Douglas who was also our guide for the 3 hour Valetta tour as well. Very knowledgeable, a lovely way about him, great patience with different kinds of people on his tour, loads covered, taking I to consideration all needs of his party. We also love the guy (Aldo?) who comes with him as well and has super knowledge as well. Plenty of photo moments as well as covering all the basics you would expect. Our guide was lovely, well informed and he passionately shared his knowledge about Malta. He answered our questions and he was patient and polite. It was a lovely experience. One I would do again,if I come back to Malta. So much information! I am excited to go back to England and share all the information with my class,who are learning about the Romans. 5* for our wonderful guide, Dominic. He was engaging, kind, and knowledgeable, I couldn't have asked for a better "host." I learned so much about the history of Malta and definitely feel this was an excellent value. We booked a walking tour at the peak heat of the summer day, which was not smart on our part. But our guide worked hard to find us shady spots to stop throughout the day. He worked well with the other tours so even though it was crowded, things never felt chaotic, even in the catacombs/bunkers, which were thankfully cool, but also very tight. The only drawback of the tour for us personally was the length - it was supposed to be 2.5 hours, but I think went closer to 3.5. We could have broken off early, I suppose, but wanted to finish he experience with the group. So I wish it could have been better paced. I would still recommend this tour because of the variety and depth of what you see and learn. However I would recommend bringing plenty of water/snacks on your own and also maybe scheduling for a time of day when the weather is mild.

This was an excellent tour and Douglas, our tour guide was really knowledgeable. The group was quite large but everything was easy to follow and well delivered. We saw all the sites we had hoped to and learnt a lot about the area/ buildings and history.
