Our island tour with Sam Travels was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well organized, from the pickup to the sightseeing, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

Amazing trip! Raj our tour guide was fantastic. He was very professional and informative. We managed to see all the main sites in the southwest of the Island. • Grand Bassin •Seven coloured earth •Black River Gorges National Park •Trou aux cerfs We brought a lunch with us and Raj helped us find an amazing spot on the beach to have a picnic before returning to our hotel. Cant recommend this tour enough.

I recommend this agency SAM Tour, friendly and dedicated staff. We took all our excursions with them: everything from the north and south with drivers, catamaran deer island and launch for the dolphin and island outing to the benign as well as the quad to the park adventure with driver. This allowed us to negotiate the rates. The drivers are punctual and pick you up from the hotel, they are all friendly and explain life in Mauritius in detail.

Amazing scenery on this tour of the south west. Our driver Robin gave us lots of information en route as we visited Chamarel, the Black River Gorges National Park, the Grand Bassin Temple and the Trou aux Cerfs volcano crater. We had time to look around the various places and also had several stops along the way to take pictures at viewpoints. We even saw a Macaque monkey! We had brought a picnic lunch from the hotel and Robin found us a picnic spot by a lake so we could eat it. As it was a Sunday there weren’t many shops open but we visited a shop in Curepipe and bought some T shirts as souvenirs. All in all a great way to see a bit more of the country outside of our hotel. Thank you!

Full family day in the southwest, many activities Rumerie, land of 7 colors, waterfalls, black river....

The guide and ride through our guide Rajesh (hopefully the name is spelled correctly) was really very good. He showed us the highlights of the Southwest with a lot of time and many explanations and was not only very friendly but also extremely helpful. Not only did he help with loading and unloading my wheelchair several times, but he didn’t miss the opportunity to push me on difficult terrain and thus relieve my wife. In places I could not visit, he took separate photos and explained everything to me in detail that I could not see. We can only recommend Rajesh and the tour.

Our guide Raj was really great! Nothing to say (very nice with the children, very helpful, teaches us a lot about the island). Communication is easy. He's punctual. You be careful. The excursion does not include entrance tickets or meals. I thought everything was included.
