Je kunt kosteloos deelnemen met je eigen e-bike, of een e-bike reserveren voor €45, ter plaatse te betalen. De kaasproeverij met een glas wijn is optioneel en dient ter plaatse te worden afgerekend. Voor elektrische kinderfietsen, kindertandems en kinderzitjes, zie het gedeelte 'Inbegrepen/Uitgesloten'. Martina Franca is een van de parels van Puglia, beroemd om haar barokke elegantie en de steegjes van het historische centrum. De tour begint met een rit op een e-bike door het stadscentrum, langs de belangrijkste pleinen en iconische bezienswaardigheden zoals het Palazzo Ducale en de Basiliek van San Martino. Net buiten de deur opent zich het platteland met wijngaarden, graanvelden, droge stenen muren, trulli en eeuwenoude olijfbomen: de ideale omgeving voor een gemakkelijke, ontspannen rit. Een lokale gids stelt de route samen, regelt de tussenstops en biedt onderweg assistentie. Via landweggetjes bereikt u een boerderij met Murgese paarden en Apulische zwarte varkens. Vervolgens bezoekt u een boerderij met koeien en een zuivelbedrijf, waar u optioneel een proeverij kunt doen.

Easy ride through the Countryside outside of Martina Franca. Guide, Rocco, was very informative and personable. We were new to e-bikes and he was very patient with us. The farm visit was fun. We saw the Puglian donkeys, horses, and pigs (all unique ti the area) plus goats and cows. The cheese and meat tasting was generous and the setting tranquil. You only spend a few minutes in the city navigating through some traffic before you are in the traffic-free countryside.
From the start near the railway station we immediately found ourselves on a beautiful asphalt farm road for a few km and then entered narrow streets in the middle of the woods. Visit to a beautiful farm with wild breeding of countless horses, goats, cows and many large and small black boars 😍 Tasting in another part of the farm of typical products such as Capocollo from Martina Franca and various dairy products, all made by theirs and genuine. Then we continued on the way back with various stops where Rocco always told us something new related to that territory. How could I not give 5 stars! 👍
An ebike trip full of surprises, friendliness and curiosity that we will certainly repeat for other tours with Rocco always full of energy and positivity. He accompanied us through farms where we learned a lot and met welcoming and kind people, he showed us the true nature of the Itria valley and surprised us with people - and animals - that allow us to truly touch the soul of this land.
