Marsa Alam : Snorkelen op de Hamata-eilanden met lunch

Je dag begint rond 07.00 uur wanneer je Gids je ophaalt van je Marsa Allam hotel en je naar het zuiden rijdt naar Hamata Marina. Daar aangekomen stapt u aan boord van uw boot en gaat u op een spannende dag Hamata National Park verkennen. Geniet van de stops om te snorkelen rond drie van de Hamata-eilanden. Bewonder de unieke koralen en levendige vissen die je alleen daar kunt vinden, en geniet van de onvervalste schoonheid van de lagunes en verschillende riffen die de eilanden omringen. Leg aan op één van deze tropische eilanden om ze van dichtbij te bekijken en wandel vervolgens langs het witte zandstrand terwijl je een grote verscheidenheid aan vogels observeert. Om 12.30 uur stapt u weer aan boord van het schip en eet u de voorziene maaltijd. Voordat u om 16.00 uur terugkeert naar de jachthaven van Hamata, vaart u na de lunch nogmaals naar de uiteindelijke snorkellocatie. Daarna gaat u zitten en ontspant u terwijl u terug wordt gereden naar uw accommodatie in Marsa Allam.

Negative: Weather problem because of the wind (weird because it is a known windy area because kite surfing school next door) or problem of profitability of the trip (boat half full)? Anyway: - option dive baptisms cancelled 2 days before, we had to remind that an extra had been paid (refund within the next hour) - pick-up at the hotel paying 7€ per person... read the lines carefully: it is included but paying if you are north or south of Marsa Alam airport... There were 4 of us and on the way to the port of Hamata... - 1 island visited with 2x the same snorkeling trip (if not beach on the island...) while it is announced 3 islands in the morning then a last trip in the afternoon... - photographer / water cameraman offering the video / photo set at 30 € for our group of 4 (friend price because there were only 3 of us to swim in the morning...) It's expensive small fish!! There were other possibilities on Viator, or competitors, cheaper than this release. The option of diving baptisms and the different places of snorkeling convinced us... We returned to the port at 3:30 pm with 2 identical snorkeling trips, 1 just 15 minutes after the meal... Positive: -wonderful fish - generous and quality meal (buffet) - PADI monitor for supervision -> reassuring for the anxious (but no fear to have, security is present -or even a little too much because impression that we were irresponsible at times) - comfortable boat - friendly crew (but some difficulties to understand the program and the course of things because English is either with a strong accent or approximate)

Friendly and professional staff the excursion alone is worth the trip to Marsa Alam! I recommend everyone to spend this wonderful day among the Hamata Islands Untouched nature the atolls are Maldivian and the barrier well preserved.
