Je avontuur begint op het levendige Jemaa el-Fna-plein, waar je je vriendelijke gids voor hotel Ali ontmoet. Visit of the souks
Our guide Ismail guided us well through the different souks of the Medina and provided us with good information (dyers, tin workers, tanneries...). It was an interesting tour. One downside was that he was often on his cell phone when we were trying to negotiate, and since we had no experience, we felt a bit left to our own devices. But perhaps it was not intended to be that way.
Ismail was on time, very friendly, and the information for the meeting point was precise. I recommend it.

Informative and fun
Tour was very interesting. Our guide Ishmael was a smashing fellow, with a great knowledge of the souks.
My only criticism is that we moved through the souks at a pace.
As with all these tours, I would imagine it is somewhat focused on shopping at specific outlets.

Awesome Experience with Ismail as tour guide
Ismail is a native of Marrakech and seemed to know everyone in the Souks. He is a super nice guy and he helped me get great prices on what I bought, but was my ally when I wanted to not negotiate more. He also was like my private guide, and let me say what I wanted to see or skip. He is a great cultural and history teacher, and lined up very interesting places to go. I can't say enough good things about this experience--and I hate to shop normally.
I liked his tour so much I'm taking another Viator tour tomorrow! Mohamed has a lot to live up to!

Great Guide
He speaks very well both in French, English and Spanish. As both women we felt very comfortable in his presence. He is very calm and patient while we roamed around in the stores. He showed both touristic and more local places, as well as giving us lots of extra information and answering our questions (he was knowledgeable which isn't the case for all guides). We really appreciated the fact he gave us pastries as a gift and made us taste some local food. Even after the tour he gave us lots of advice when we asked for recommandations. Very recommended
