Geniet 's ochtends van een ophaalservice vanaf uw hotel in Marrakech en reis in een voertuig met airconditioning naar een vertrekpunt voor een heteluchtballonvaart in het nabijgelegen platteland. Bij aankomst kunt u genieten van gebak, thee, warme chocolademelk en koffie, terwijl de professionele bemanning de ballon klaarmaakt voor uw avontuur. Stap in de ruime mand en zweef soepel boven de Marokkaanse woestijn, valleien en heuvels. Geniet van spectaculaire uitzichten op het Atlasgebergte en maak fantastische foto's vanuit de lucht. Na een zachte landing kunt u ontspannen in een traditionele Berbertent met uitzicht op de bergen en genieten van een smakelijk ontbijt met lokale specialiteiten, pannenkoeken, eieren, olijven en Marokkaanse thee. I booked this tour for my daughter and granddaughter and they had a fabulous experience. Nothing like a sunrise on the Sahara. A bit of additional information: hot air balloon tours are generally very early in the morning and weather sensitive - a somewhat fluid but doable situation. You will not know the exact pickup time until the night before because of the weather. Plus they may not be able to physically pick you up at your hotel because of road access issues. Very important to communicate with the Tour Agency to make certain you understand the exact pickup location and time. If you need assistance, ask your hotel to lend a hand.
Very fun experience would definitely recommend to a friend. I loved the view and the people were very welcoming to us.
Was told 6am pick up and the driver arrived at 5am. He then left us and told us to take a taxi to the hot air balloon venue. We refused. He came back to fetch us. Bad attitude and bad driving, as he sped over a ditch , car broke down and we had to get another car.
Booked and tried for 3 days to get confirmation but t was ignored. Then they cancelled the night before and now it will take 3 days for a refind
Although the initial booking was easy, trying to ascertain the collection point and time was not easy. We rang at lunch time the day before and was told they would contact us by 10pm. Not great when I couldn’t tell the chn what time they had to wake up by. On the morning I didn’t give my 3 chn any breakfast as the booking had said there would be pastries: there were never any pastries We were first to be picked up so spent 90 mins picking up others with no communication of any time frames. The actual balloon ride and people running it were fab but by this time we were all ravenous! Again, the breakfast was very good but there was lots of waiting around to get there and getting home and at no point did anyone tell us what was happening or any time frames. There was also no option of a camel ride like the description said which led to disappointed children. I sent 2 e-mails in the days following the trip to outline some of my disappointments. Like the pastries: nothing was received!
The flight itself was a great experience, with plenty of time to admire the mountains and Marrakech. But throughout the tour, including transfer, the flight and the breakfast after it, there was barely any communication of what is coming up and when, compared with other tours we had while in Morocco. Whats also somewhat annoying, is that the tour’s itinerary includes a continental breakfast which never happened nor were any explanations provided. Not a major thing obviously but overpromising isn’t a great way to attract customers.
Shabby organization: Pick-up at 7am 3/4 hour waiting on the bus without explanation to leave because wrong place and they did not know there was a breakfast. Driver all the time on the phone and very dangerous. Continental breakfast, a cake with horrible coffee. At 9.30 am setting up Hot air balloon Berber breakfast at 11.30am 12:15 15 minutes waiting on the bus The flight in hot air balloon nice but I advise against this provider, Dangerous driver and very bad organization.
The ride was only about 15 minutes and it’s tons of rocks and you have to climb in hot air balloon so dress accordingly. The breakfast is u sitting down with 6-8 other strangers at a table all digging into the same plate. There is no extra things to do or see like they state in the description. They don’t even tell you your pick up time till the night before literally was told 9:00pm on 03/07 that my pick up was 6 am on 03/08.
