Vasse Felix, opgericht in 1967 door regionale pionier Dr. Tom Cullity, is het eerste wijndomein van Margaret River. Ervaar een wijnproeverij en geniet van een lunch (optioneel) in het veelgeprezen restaurant Vasse Felix op de eerste verdieping met een prachtig uitzicht op de wijngaard en de tuinen van het huis. Het landgoed beschikt ook over een wijnmuseum en een kunstgalerie. Houd er rekening mee dat er geen kosten voor wijnproeverijen zijn als u op de locatie luncht.

Optioneel bezoek aan vuurtoren Leeuwin in Augusta (optioneel. Toegangsprijs niet inbegrepen). Merk op dat de vuurtoren van Leeuwin zich in het zuidelijke deel van de Margaretha-regio in Augusta bevindt. Margaret River-regio is enorm met meer dan 100 km te overbruggen van kaap tot kaap. Het is belangrijk om aan het begin van de tour ervoor te zorgen dat je de vuurtoren wilt bezoeken, zodat we de reisroute dienovereenkomstig kunnen organiseren.
De Ngilgi-grot heeft een geweldig grottenstelsel met prachtige kristalformaties. Dit is een optionele attractie.

Canal Rocks is een reeks granieten rotsen in het Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, die geleidelijk door de kustwateren zijn uitgehouwen, waardoor een natuurlijk smal kanaal is ontstaan. Slechts een korte wandeling vanaf de parkeerplaats biedt gemakkelijke toegang tot het uitkijkpunt op de voetgangersbrug, waar u een spectaculair uitzicht heeft op de golven die over de rotsen breken en onder de voetgangersbrug door razen.

We had such a fantastic day with Sergio who is a most exceptional guide and driver. His interesting and knowledgeable commentary throughout our journey gave much appreciated insight into the people and Margaret River region. We visited Busselton Jetty and although our Underwater Observatory Experience was cancelled due to poor weather forecast and water conditions, we enjoyed our time in the bussling and lively atmosphere. From there we headed to Canal Rocks. Such an exhilarating site that not even the heavy winds and rain could dampen our excitement. Sergio then introduced us to Gabriel Chocolates - a truly special award winning chocolate tasting experience with lots of produce from all over the world. Nearby in Yallingup we met lovely Jo at Windows Estate. Jo & Chris run their high end boutique winery and beautiful organic jams, sauces and pickled veggies are created in their Kitchen. Interesting producers with innovative processes to produce high quality wines and organic produce. A quick visit for lunch and more wine sampling at Vasse Felix located in Cowaramup specialising in Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The opitome of our day was undoubtedly our arrival at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in Augusta located on the extreme south-west point of Australia. After a light sunshower, we were greeted by two bright rainbows. Such an exhilarating sight to see where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet and absolutely amazing landscape. Beware of the intensely fierce winds and rug up well. Thank you so much Sergio for such an exceptional journey of exhilarating discovery and amazing new experiences in this wonderful part of our world.
The trip to the limestone cave and the estuary where Margaret River joins the sea> The drive through the forest was great too> More importantly, our driver Sergio was very pleasant and knowledgeable besides being very hospitable and making our trip very memorable. suresh
Our Guide and companion for the day was Sergio Libertino. We were picked up from our Perth CBD accommodation at 8:00am and dropped back at 8:30PM. After asking what we expected out of the day, what wine we liked and food we preferred. Sergio was able to tailor our day to suit. He gave us the perfect combination of wineries, food and sightseeing.

Sergio is a very friendly, gentle and entertaining tour guide. We had a really good time on his tour and definitely recommend other travelers to book his tour. He listened to our request very well and took us to very beautiful wineries, which amazed us much. We also enjoyed dropping by wonderful nature of Margaret River such as Tuart forest area, Kangaroo point and Yalingup that we may not come up by ourselves. Sergio is a attentive and informative tour guide . He is punctual and a gentleman. Being a Perth local Sergio is passionate and very proud of all Western Australia has to offer . I also booked a half day city, Fremantle and Pinnacles tour.
