Op het eiland Santa Maria beleef je een ontspannen en authentieke dag in contact met de natuur. Deze tocht is ideaal voor wie op zoek is naar verlaten stranden, een adembenemend landschap en totale rust. 1. Vrije tijd op het strand - Ontspan op de witte zandstranden en in het transparante water - Duiken, zwemmen of gewoon liggen onder de kokospalmen - Perfect voor paradijselijke foto's 2. Wandeling langs de kust en wandelpaden - Lichte wandeling om de kustvegetatie en rotsformaties te verkennen - Stops voor foto's en uitleg van de gids over de lokale biodiversiteit - Als het tij gunstig is, kun je naar panoramische punten lopen 3. Snorkelen met gids - Verken koraalriffen en rotsformaties - Bekijk tropische vissen, zeesterren, zee-egels en kleurrijke koralen - Snorkeluitrusting inbegrepen (masker, snorkel en vest) - Ervaren lokale gids om beginners te helpen en veiligheid te garanderen
Als je aankomt op Inhaca Island, wordt de dag opgedeeld in drie delen: 1. Lunch Geniet van een heerlijke traditionele Mozambikaanse lunch bereid door de lokale bevolking. Op het menu staan verse zeevruchten (zoals garnalen, vis of inktvis), rijst, salade en typische bijgerechten. Vegetarische opties kunnen beschikbaar zijn op voorafgaand verzoek. 2. Pauze Na de lunch heb je wat tijd om te ontspannen: - Wandelen langs het strand - Foto's maken van het landschap Dit is de perfecte tijd om het wat rustiger aan te doen, diep adem te halen en de natuurlijke schoonheid van het eiland te waarderen. 3. Wandeling en bezoek aan de plaatselijke markt Na het rusten maken we een lichte wandeling door de dorpjes van het eiland, waar je : - Leer de plaatselijke levensstijl kennen - Bezoek de kleine markt van de gemeenschap - Handwerk en souvenirs kopen - Op een respectvolle en authentieke manier met bewoners omgaan Onze gids zal de hele reis aanwezig zijn om comfort, vertaling en veiligheid te garanderen.
Bij aankomst op het eiland heb je vrije tijd om : Wandelen langs de kust en de natuurlijke schoonheid van het eiland leren kennen, Ontspannen op het strand en zonnebaden, Duiken in het kalme, transparante water, Snorkelen (indien inbegrepen of met je eigen uitrusting), Veilig de omgeving verkennen, begeleid door onze lokale gids. Tijdens de tour geven we uitleg over de geschiedenis van het eiland, het ecologisch belang en wetenswaardigheden over de kustregio.

A fun itinerary. Beautiful beaches and scenery. Nice to explore the various islands. Food was good, and big portions. Tour was conducted in multiple languages. On Inhaca, we had a local guide to provide information. We had anticipated more explanations and guidance. Was very chill and relaxing day. A great time! A bit more guidance on where/how to meet would be useful for those less familiar with the area/process.

The boat ride was lovely. The organization was poor though - while we received info about where to be and when, we left 45minutes later than expected, with no information about what was happening. We arrived at the first beach (also beautiful) but there were not enough chairs for the whole group and when requested, we were told they would come but never materialized. Similarly, we were told snorkeling gear would be available; also requested this once we arrived, we were told it was coming shortly, and again never arrived. Very little info during the trip what was happening next. Lunch was average. We had an enjoyable day because we could spend time together, but overall, not sure I would recommend. Lovely day on the water - the rest was a bit of a miss.

Excellent day out, beautiful beaches, very friendly and helpful staff. Snorkelling at Santa Maria was fantastic, so many fish. Food at the restaurant was very good. Timings all worked well. Very happy, thank you 🤩

Very nice island hopping trip. Inhaca was a perfect place to relax. Staff and the boat captain were very professional. Lunch was excellent and we even saw some dolphins. I think this is one of the best day trips you do from Maputo.

Really great. The guide was very attentive. Could have spent more time at Santa Maria snorkeling (the guide knew the best spot) and a little less at Portuguese Island (without a cruise ship there or it's a ghost town). Overall a great time was had!

The experience was amazing, great customer service. I did the day trip to 3 Islands and was the best way to spend my Saturday. All fees were included in the price. If you are visiting Mozambique, I highly recommend this activity.
