Ervaar de magie: Kona Manta Ray nacht snorkel Ga op een onvergetelijk avontuur met een spannende nachtsnorkelen met majestueuze mantaroggen voor de kust van Kona. Terwijl de zon onder de horizon zakt, varen we langs de kustlijn, genietend van een adembenemende zonsondergang. Op onze bestemming ben je voorzien van alle benodigde spullen, waaronder een wetsuit, snorkel, masker en vinnen. Daarna daalt u, onder leiding van onze ervaren bemanning, zachtjes af in het warme water. Wees getuige van de magie terwijl deze zachte reuzen gracieus door het verlichte water glijden en hun bioluminescente plankton een betoverend schouwspel creëert. This was an absolutely awesome excursion. CJ Karen and Corey were amazing and made the trip. Their knowledge, care and humor made it all the better. One thing I want to mention about this company is they do have sturdier ladders, one member of our party was over the normal limit of 285. The ship was clean comfortable and everything was well thought out and organized. We saw a massive amount of manta rays! You also get two separate snorkels with this Co. versus just one with most others. Best value of all. Highly recommend
I can not express enough how special and memorable this experience is! From beginning to end, Manta Adventures takes great care of their customers. Karen and CJ were exceptional crew who knew how to keep a safety briefing interesting while still being informative! Shoutout to Captain Corey for getting us to and from the manta site safely. Aside from the company itself being amazing to work with, the experience is unreal! The wildlife gods were on our side as we saw dolphins, a monk seal, a plethora of reef fish, and MANTAS!!! This is a must do family activity while on the Big Island. Words don’t begin to describe how fascinating these creatures are. Check it out for yourself!
The ride out was beautiful, the crew were wonderful and fun. I picked this one because it offered a longer timeframe for almost the same price as some that said it was half the time. We got there earlier and had time to swim around and check out the reef before the manta rays arrived. It was totally worth the price. The experience was amazing. The whole thing was beautiful and manta rays were graceful and cool. Even the recommendation from the crew for a late night dinner was great!
The guides were really nice, knowledgeable and enjoyable. However, there were 24 people on the boat which was WAY too many for the space. We had a party of 6 and were unable to all sit down at all, and there was not enough room for everybody's stuff in the dry box area. The "light snack" was one pineapple cut up for all of the people, and the "hot shower" was a hose with warm water that they squirt each person off with for about 6/7 seconds each. If there had been 15 people the trip could have been enjoyable, but trying to squeeze that many people on board made it quite miserable. The "money making aspect" of the trip ruined what could have been a really neat experience.
Cory, CJ, and Karen were fantastic guides. We felt safe and cared for. Karen and CJ were very fun, engaging, kind, and patient. When they weren’t making sure we had an amazing experience they were working their tails off cleaning equipment. The music play list was great! The boat was clean. We saw about 10 manta rays. What an experience! They were beautiful, graceful, enormous creatures that swam within arms reach; sometimes right in front of our faces! But DON’T touch the mantas! Karen was very knowledgeable and engaging.
This was amazing! The Crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The crew went above their duty to help us find the mantas. They taught us evening we needed to know to have a wonderful experience! Thank you, I'd do it again in a heat beat!
Do not hesitate, book the trip. This trip was hands down my favorite tour I have ever done, and I have lived in Hawaii for a while now. Snorkeling before the sun set, enjoying the views and nice weather, then swimming with the absolutely most majestic creatures of the sea was the most perfect end! I can’t put into words how amazing this trip was. Cj, Karen and Cody were phenomenal crew members, and so personable. If you want to see Mantas, they are the ones to book it with. 🫶🏼
Be prepared for the trip to get canceled due to waves and current changes. Safety for all was a factor and the main contributing factor
Thank you for your review. To be honest, we're not entirely sure how to respond to a one-star review that acknowledges the trip was canceled due to safety concerns. On the day of your scheduled tour, Hawaii Civil Defense had issued both a High Surf Warning and a High Wind Advisory. These are conditions that are completely beyond our control. As a USCG-inspected vessel, we have a responsibility to prioritize the safety of our guests and crew above all else. While cancellations are disappointing for everyone involved, including our staff and our business, which depend on these trips, we will never put people at risk simply to avoid canceling a tour. Most guests appreciate knowing that when dangerous ocean conditions exist, we make the difficult decision to cancel rather than gamble with their safety. In fact, we hope future guests reading this review will see it as confirmation that we take our responsibility seriously. Nobody likes a canceled vacation activity, but just as a golf course might close during a hurricane or a ski resort during avalanche conditions, ocean tours sometimes must be canceled when nature doesn't cooperate.
