Het mangrovebos is een van de meest vitale en verbazingwekkende ecosystemen ter wereld. Damas Island, gelegen op slechts 10 minuten van Manuel Antonio, is momenteel een van de belangrijkste overgebleven mangroven in Costa Rica. Deze verbazingwekkende biodiversiteit, die duizenden hectaren beschermd bos beslaat, herbergt een groot aantal vogels, reptielen, zoogdieren en insecten. Onze ervaren gidsen nemen je mee op een onvergetelijke boottocht door de kanalen van het mangrovebos, ver weg van de bewoonde wereld. U kunt een overvloed aan inheemse soorten ontdekken, zoals witkopapen, miereneters, boa's, leguanen, vogels en duizenden kleurrijke krabben.

It was pretty good, we saw a lot of animals! However, one thing to improve would be if the guide spoke more loudly, and faced the guests instead of out toward the water or forward. It was very hard to hear over the boat engine, and I missed a lot of explanation.
Amazing boat mangroves tour where we had a lot of sightseeing of animals, including iguanas, JC lizards, spiders, monkeys, wonderful birds, and even a boa, an American crocodile - deep in the forest - and a caiman… All explained by a very competent guide.
Amazing tour with a fantastic guide, Rodolfo (great name as well), he was great in finding interesting hinge and explaining them very well. And to close a nice meal. Definitely recommendable
We had an amazing your from beginning to end. Saw so many animals (sloth, monkeys, birds, snakes, Cayman) and foliage on the tour. Great way to spend your time. Kevin was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and dinner at soda Sanchez was amazing!!!
Kevin was an excellent guide and very kind. We saw a lot of wildlife and the guide and captain took their time to ensure we could see different animals. I recommend this tour, and it included a delicious lunch.
We had a lovely tour with Kenneth! Got picked up on time from our hotel Arenas Del Mar, and drove about 20 mins to hop in the boat for the Mangrove tour. Very calm waters, small group tour, educated guide. We saw monkeys, iguanas, lizards, crocodiles, and more. A nice 3-4 excursion in total, included lunch at a cute restaurant in Quepos. Definitely recommend. Also family friendly!
