Manchester is al 25 jaar mijn thuis en de laatste 9 jaar deel ik het met bezoekers als een onafhankelijke lokale Gids. Ontdek de verhalen en geschiedenis waardoor ik verliefd werd op mijn stad. Als je maar een paar dagen in Manchester bent, of je wilt de geheimen ervan ontdekken en de belangrijkste attracties verkennen, is dit de beste wandeltocht in de stad. Gareth was an excellent guide; knowledgeable and funny. He also paced the tour well and kept us all together in the busy city centre. His talk covered centuries of Manchester history from the Romans to the present day and left us with a much deeper and wider view of this vibrant city. I would absolutely recommend him.

Had a lovely time on this walking tour with Gareth. He clearly has a lot of experience and knowledge and makes what he does look effortless probably because he's put so much thought and care into what he does. He was able to tailor what he said to the group, had some incredible pictures in his folder and phone and made the entire thing so enjoyable! Would highly recommend!
Gareth is a super guide! He explained the history of Manchester to us wonderfully and enthusiastically. He was super easy to understand and never boring. The 2:15 hours were very entertaining and enjoyable.

We joined Gareth’s tour on Saturday on a beautiful sunny afternoon in Manchester. The whole experience was fantastic and far outweighed our expectations. Gareth is incredibly passionate about Manchester. He is very knowledgeable helps you to fall in love with the city even more. A whole range of events and people are described and Gareth answers questions informatively. If you are ever in Manchester and looking for something memorable to do, I cannot recommend Gareth’s walking tour highly enough.
The tour with Gareth was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and really enjoyable to listen to. He shared lots of funny, interesting, and unusual anecdotes that made the tour even more memorable. We learned a lot about Manchester while having a great time.
