Malta : Gozo Full Day Buggy Tour met lunch en Comino Stop

Verken het eiland Gozo tijdens een buggytour van een hele dag. Begin uw tour bij de Mgarr Harbour, waar u aan boord van uw buggy stapt. Ga verder naar de Qala Belvedere, een schilderachtig uitkijkpunt met een panoramisch uitzicht op de Maltese archipel, inclusief de eilanden Comino en Malta. Kom langs de Qala parochiekerk, een prachtige barokke kerk gewijd aan St. Joseph. Stop bij de legendarische Calypso-grot en verken vervolgens de Ggantija-tempels, die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staan. Stop bij de Citadel in Victoria, de hoofdstad van Gozo. Geniet van een ontspannen lichte lunch in Mariblu pension. Kom langs de Xlendi Cliffs, bezoek Dwejra, het Ta Pinu Sanctuary, het Wied il-Mielah Window, een minder bekende maar even indrukwekkende natuurlijke kalkstenen boog vergelijkbaar met het Azure Window. Stop bij de traditionele zoutpannen, waar al eeuwenlang zeezout wordt gewonnen. Geniet van een verfrissende zwemstop in de Blue Lagoon en keer vervolgens terug naar Malta.

De Ggantija-tempels zijn tempels die in de prehistorie zijn gebouwd.
In de Calypso-grot heb je een fotostop op het rode zandstrand.
Het Gozitaanse fort dat werd gebruikt bij de grote belegering tegen het Ottomaanse leger werd door burgers verborgen gehouden toen ze werden aangevallen.
Je stopt om te eten waar je een koud buffet krijgt geserveerd.
Passeer de kliffen van Sanap waar je de kliffen van het eiland Gozo kunt zien
Na de lunch passeer je de plaatselijke kerk van Xewkija.
U heeft een stop van 20 minuten waar u de omgeving van Dwejra kunt verkennen en tegen een toeslag kunt u zelfs een boottocht van een minuut maken
Je stopt voor een kleine fotostop van de kliffen van het Xlendi-gebied.
Je zult een kijkje nemen in de natuurlijke zoutpannen waar de lokale bevolking zout uit zeewater haalt.
Je hebt een kleine zwemstop in de Xwejni-baai.
Je passeert de kerk van ta 'Pinu waar je foto's kunt maken.
Je hebt een zwemstop van 45 minuten in Comino voordat je teruggaat naar Malta

Wow a fantastic tour around Gozo and Peter our guide was passionate and so knowledgeable. Loved exploring the whole island - so much to see and so much history. A great way to pack in what could have been a whole week! The swim stops were great - and seeing the beach where Ulysses ((Odyssey) spent the 10 years etc etc was epic ! Only downside was the pick up and ferry across /back and drop off all a bit disorganised and poor communication along the way but everyone friendly and it all worked just could have been a bit better. Loved it all thanks to everyone for a great day !
It was a great experience, a very fun day thanks also to our guide Silvio who showed us all the most beautiful spots on the island in an excellent way. I highly recommend this tour.

Pick up and drop off by bus was fine and smooth. Our guide (Peter) knew the island like no other and gave us a lot of information. We got a good view of the whole island and he showed us around well. At some stopping places extra info nig would have been allowed. Lunch was what it was (we didn't expect much of it either). Hot buffet consisted of baked potatoes and penne with tomato sauce. Cold buffet was a mixed rice, tomatoes, lettuce, capers and olives and two types of charcuterie and canned tuna. That doesn't make you very happy, but for that price that can't be much anymore. The boat trip to Comino and the Blue Lagoon: the boat didn't even dock so we couldn't go for a drink or dinner on Comino either which was a shame. Then sailed past the caves which was a nice experience due to the size of the boat (read a clay boat for 30 people). Overall a nice day, but still some work points. However, if you want to view all of Gozo in a simple way, this is a good way.

Enjoyed the experience, with the exception on one swim/boat stop which felt unnecessary. Lunch was fine, guide was polite and informative. A novel experience nipping around in a buggy. Image suggested ’off road’ which was not the case, although the quality of the roads is terrible so buggy probably best option !

Our guide on the island was excellent, he was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately our transfer over and back was not very good, our boat had broken down so we had a bit of a wait in full sun, with no amenities at all. Our return, again was a quite a lengthy wait for a boat.
