Wij heten u welkom op Hornblower Cruises een lokaal familiebedrijf sinds 1984. Wij zijn niet de modernste boot maar we hebben alles wat u nodig heeft aan boord om uw dag bij ons onvergetelijk te maken. We hebben onze tours en de boot ontworpen om u alles te bieden wat u nodig heeft voor de dag - een bovenste zonnedek, ligstoelen, glijbaan, schaduwrijk gebied, bar / restaurant met airconditioning, kluisjes en meer. Als u een zonaanbidder bent, spring dan naar het bovenste zonnedek en geniet van de zon (gratis ligstoelen) of als u liever de schaduw hebt, neem dan plaats op ons ruime schaduwrijke hoofddek. Eenmaal in de Blue Lagoon profiteren van onze ligplaats, weg van het drukke strand - Zwemmen, snorkelen, zonnebaden en glijden in het turquoise water van de Blue Lagoon. De cruise laat je ook de schoonheid van Comino eiland zien, varend dicht bij de kliffen en in de grotten en stranden van het eiland.

Ga met ons mee op deze onvergetelijke dagtour die vertrekt om 10.00 uur en terugkomt om 17.00 uur. Met kapitein Kevin en zijn bemanning willen we u de schoonheid van dit prachtige kleine eiland laten zien. Om 10 uur vertrekken we met wat religieuze geschiedenis, we passeren het eiland St.Pauls die hier schipbreuk leed, ter nagedachtenis staat er nu een standbeeld van hem midden op dit piepkleine eiland.
We komen langs het grootste strand van Malta Mellieha baai en gaan verder de Ahrax grot in waar we stoppen voor een aantal geweldige fotografische opnamen. Vlak voordat we het Comino South Channel oversteken varen we langs de beroemde toeristische site Coral Cove.
Als we Ahrax punt passeren krijgen we een duidelijk zicht op het eiland Comino. Het kleinste van de drie eilanden slechts 1,4 vierkante mijl. We varen 360 graden rond Comino en zijn getuige van hoge klifranden, met magische rotsformaties zoals de 'Elephants Head'.
Het moment waarop jullie allemaal hebben gewacht, wat veel reizigers 'Paradise on Earth' hebben genoemd, komen we aan bij de prachtige BLUE LAGOON op het eiland Comino. Profiteer van onze geweldige ligplaats en breng uw tijd door op de boot. Weg van het drukke strand kunt u springen, zwemmen en glijden in het kristalheldere turquoise water. Maak gebruik van het bovenste zonnedek of relax op ons ruime schaduwrijke hoofddek. Als je honger hebt pak iets van onze cafetaria aan boord prijzen zijn zeer redelijk. We hebben misschien niet de meest moderne boot, maar we hebben alle voorzieningen die u nodig heeft voor een dag op zee. Gebruik de boot als uitvalsbasis als je vrij loopt op / af naar het eiland Comino. Kom terug als u gebruik wilt maken van de bar/cafetaria, sanitaire voorzieningen of andere faciliteiten aan boord. Met meer dan 4 uur hier heb je de tijd van je leven.
Gebouwd in 1618 om het eiland Comino te helpen verdedigen passeren we een van de weinige gebouwen op het eiland Comino, de Santa Maria Tower. Ook populair om zijn rol als gevangenis Chateau D'If in de film de Graaf van Monte Kristo is dit een andere pittoreske site.
Terugkomst om 17:00 uur
Varend over het zuidelijke kanaal van Comino komen we in de Crystal Lagoon die populairder is bij duikers gezien de diepere wateren. Deze baai is ook te voet bereikbaar vanaf de Blue Lagoon waar we 4,5 uur zullen aanmeren. Een korte wandeling van 8 minuten brengt u hier waar u zoveel tijd kunt doorbrengen als u wilt snorkelen, zwemmen of voor de meer avontuurlijke klifspringen. Deze site kan worden gezien op de weg naar Comino of later op de weg terug naar Malta, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden

- Voor rolstoelen geldt dat de toiletten zich op het benedendek bevinden. U bent van harte welkom met de rolstoel op de boot, maar er zijn 5 trappen naar boven naar het hoofddek en 5 treden om toegang te krijgen tot het benedendek.
- Let op: op Comino eiland en op de boot betalingen worden alleen contant geaccepteerd
- Voor gasten die de cruise doen in maart - mei of oktober - december neem een jas of iets warms mee als het koud wordt tijdens het varen

This was the best day trip ever! We did the blue lagoon for the entire day (did not go to Gozo) and it was so worth it. The deals for the pineapple cocktail drink was 100% worth it and spent the day swimming and sun bathing. Make sure you get to the marina early to get one of the top deck chairs! Food for lunch was so good!

Second time on the Hornblower cruise and just as excellent as the first time - can’t fault it at all. The boat and facilities are great, the staff are friendly and engaging, the playlist is spot on and the price of the ticket as well as refreshments is very reasonable. It was the best day of our holiday easily.

Lovely boat and very friendly crew. Only criticism is that we probably spent too long in the same place and it would have been improved by moving to some different places such as the caves I have been on previous trips here where the boat stopped and had an hour or so there before moving on to blue lagoon. Overall though it was a great day out and highly recommended.
Fantastic day out, very reasonably priced drinks and food onboard. Very helpful and friendly staff, great value for money. Best location in the blue lagoon. Limited sunbeds, need to get onboard early. No comfortable lounge chairs in the shade.

An absolute must when visiting Malta. A warm and friendly welcome awaits from Captain Kevin and all the crew. Time taken to point out some great sights accompanied by some delicious cocktails. The blue lagoon is breathtakingly beautiful. Snorkel, jump in from the top-deck, or soak up some sun on the busy sandy beach or quieter rocks. The boat provides a great base covering all the facilities you will need. This trip is good value for money for a family (15, 11 & 7 YO) and we all felt well looked after. We would all definitely do this again next time we visit Malta. Thank you so much!

It was a very beautiful experience! I must say it very cold tho and super windy on the boat but the UV was very high so wear a hat and sunscreen! Thankfully it was sunny the whole time. The blue lagoon was beautiful and very warm so pack your bikini. If you’re going to malta definitely book this trip! Also the dog being there made the whole trip a 10/10. Being a jacket tho if you’re not going mid summer.

By far one of the best experiences I have ever had!!! The boat had such a friendly crew and made sure we enjoyed our day of fun in the sun!!! The sights were absolutely beautiful!!! The captain had an awesome playlist which was nice having music to add to the fun boat vibes. You can tell that the people crew are passionate about what they do.
