Met uitzicht op het schilderachtige Putrajaya-meer is de Putra-moskee aantoonbaar het meest markante oriëntatiepunt van Putrajaya en een van de modernste moskeeën ter wereld. Een demonstratie van hoe de moskeeontwerpen zich hebben ontwikkeld in Maleisië, de Islamitische architectuur van Putra Mosque combineert artistiek traditionele ontwerpen, lokaal vakmanschap en het gebruik van inheemse materialen. De moskee is gemodelleerd naar de Perzische islamitische architectuur van de Safavid-periode met elementen afgeleid van andere moslimculturen. De hoofdingang van de moskee met Maleisische, Perzische en Arabisch-islamitische architecturale ontwerpen is gevormd naar de vorm van openbare bouwpoorten in het islamitische Perzië.
Jonker Street - de centrumstraat van Chinatown met kleding- en handwerkwinkels en restaurants. Het beste deel van Jonker Street is de avondmarkt op vrijdag en zaterdag die alles verkoopt, van smakelijke traktaties tot goedkope souvenirs.
Christ Church gebouwd door de Nederlanders toen ze Malacca in bezit namen van de Portugezen, het is een van de meest bepalende structuren van Malakka. Gelegen aan Jalan Gereja (ook bekend als Church Street) is het een direct herkenbaar baksteenrood gebouw met bovenaan een enorm wit kruis. Zittend tegenover het Stadhuys, werd de Christ Church in 1753 gebouwd om een eeuw Nederlandse bezetting te vieren. Het interieur van de kathedraal heeft 20-jaar oude handgemaakte banken, decoratieve bovenlichten en platen die Nederlandse soldaten en de lokale bevolking eren.
De ruïnes van de St. Pauluskerk liggen op de top van de heuvel van St. Paul. Gebouwd op de plaats van het laatste Istana (paleis) van de sultan van Malakka, werd het gebouwd door de Portugese fidalgo (edelman) kapitein, Duarte Coelho, uit dankbaarheid aan de Maagd Maria voor het redden van zijn leven tijdens een storm op zee. Zonder dak en bedekt met varens, heette het oorspronkelijk de Nossa Senhora da Annunciada (Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Aankondiging). Hoewel het al meer dan 150 jaar in puin ligt, is het een mooi, luchtig heiligdom (te bereiken na een steile trap) dat zich vlak bij de overblijfselen van A 'Famosa Fort bevindt.
Een wandeling langs de rivier de Melaka is een geweldige manier om de bezienswaardigheden van Melaka in een rustig tempo te bekijken, comfortabel en zonder de bank te breken. De Melaka-rivier is waar de stad begon en het heeft een sleutelrol gespeeld in de kleurrijke geschiedenis van Melaka.
De Malacca Straits-moskee is een van de mooiste moskeeën in Maleisië. Het is ook bekend als Masjid Selat Melaka omdat het zich op de drukste en langste zeestraat bevindt. Het is gebouwd op een door de mens gemaakt eiland, Pulau Melaka. Wanneer het tij hoog is, ziet de moskee eruit alsof hij in de oceaan drijft. De openingsceremonie werd gedaan door Yang di-Pertuan Agong Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail op 24 november 2006. Het landschap op de oprijlaan was adembenemend terwijl je de volledige kust van de stad Malakka te zien krijgt.

I had with my grandson a full day private trip to the historic city of Malacca from Kuala Lumpur . . Our guide Chen picked us up from our hotel at 8:00 AM , he was excellent , helpful, and knowledgeable and did a great job showing us the Portuguese , Dutch, English , and Malay heritage of the city We had included lunch at a nice restaurant on the Malacca River which was great . The car was clean with a nice AC I highly recommend doing this trip

Terrible. We paid and did not eat. Everything was cold, tasteless, poorly cooked, and made from very low-quality products. I recommend not going.

I had such a great holiday thanks to Mugilan. He was a wonderful guide who made so much effort to take good pictures in such a hot weather. I got so many good pics that I bombarded my Instagram story instantly with pics taken in Melaka. He was also very knowledgeable on KL culture and history, all the info he told me were very interesting and hleped me understand Malaysian culture. It was a long ride to Melaka, so we started the tour earlier than planned, and that was the best choice👌 I got to go to Putrajaya Mosque first and then to Melaka. Did not experience that much traffic jam when going there. However, there was huge traffic jam when returning to KL. Mugilan let me turn on the songs I preferred while driving, so it was not a boring ride. Talking and listening to the music.. it was such a comfortable ride back. I strongly recommend you to ask for Mugilan if you don't want to miss the culture and also great pics in Melaka.

We went on this tour today as a family of three and really enjoyed our time exploring Malacca. Janice was a great guide who shared lots of interesting cultural information at just the right moments, patiently answered all of our questions, and gave us some useful suggestions on places to visit while staying in Putrajaya. We would definitely recommend this tour—just don’t forget to wear really comfortable shoes, as there’s a lot of walking!

Would highly recommend ForeverVacation and the Malacca Instagram Tour. We took the private tour for just the two of us as it provide a more intimate experience. My second day with the lovely Janice! Malacca is beautiful, and filled with history and for sure worth a visit , but,.. it’s a long drive from KL where I booked my trip from. While I dozed off in the car, I almost felt bad for Janice who had to drive that whole way ,.. but once again and she took the most beautiful pictures and explained me about the different sites we were visiting. Even though it was very hot walking around! I definitely recommend Malacca but keep in mind the drive back and forth is long. But Janice Thank You! 💕

Our Melaka Instagram Tour was a highlight for our stay in Kuala Lumpur. It was both an architecturally and culturally educational experience of the early Malaysian heritage. We would highly recommend Janice, our personal tour guide, who was exceptional due to her knowledge, humour, photographical skills and kindness which added to our overall time in Kuala Lumpur.
