Eén blik op de adembenemende uitzichten van de Malahat SkyWalk en bezoekers zijn meteen onder de indruk. De opvallende spiraalvormige toren van 10 verdiepingen brengt gasten 250 m boven zeeniveau om 360 graden zichtlijnen van eilanden, fjorden, bossen en bergen te bewonderen. De 600 m hoge loopbrug leidt naar de toren en brengt gasten tussen de torenhoge boomtoppen van de Arbutus- en Douglassparren aan de westkust. En sensatiezoekers kunnen het net boven aan de SkyWalk doorkruisen en van de "Insta-beroemde" spiraalglijbaan in de toren afglijden. Lokale warme en koude dranken en snacks van het Café kunnen worden genoten in een aantal pittoreske zitplekken. Deze klassieke eilandervaring ligt op slechts 35 minuten van Victoria en is toegankelijk voor alle leeftijden. Het is toegankelijk voor rolstoelen en kinderwagens.

Dompel jezelf onder in de ongerepte natuur: een steile, beboste berg, hoog boven de Salish Sea. Beklim de spiraalvormige helling naar het hoogtepunt van het avontuur. Op 250 m boven zeeniveau biedt de toren enkele van de beste uitzichten op Vancouver Island, inclusief een weids panorama van Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, het schiereiland Saanich en eilanden in twee landen. Verken de westkust vanuit een heel nieuw perspectief en kies vervolgens je afdaling met een terugloop via de helling of neem de snelle route op onze Spiral Slide. De arbutus, of Pacific madrone, lijkt heerlijk exotisch met zijn gladde chartreuse hout bedekt met roodachtige, papierachtige schors. Het groeit op rotsachtige kusten en draagt in het voorjaar witte bloemen die naar honing ruiken. In de herfst helpen rode bessen veel van de lokale vogels en dieren in het wild te voeden. Van de toren naar beneden komen op de spiraalvormige glijbaan van 20 meter is misschien wel het enige dat zo geweldig is als het uitzicht vanaf de top. Ga je gang, neem zoveel beurten als je wilt - we zullen het begrijpen.

Deze geplande sluiting stelt ons in staat om essentieel onderhoud en voorbereidingen voor het winterseizoen te voltooien, waardoor een veiligere en verbeterde ervaring voor onze gasten wordt gegarandeerd wanneer we weer opengaan. Op 1 december 2025 hervatten we de reguliere activiteiten.

Great attraction with beautiful views. The slide down was fun for all ages. Beautiful driftwood artwork along the path. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views from all angles. I used a scooter all the way up and it was fully. accessible

We really enjoyed our outing..just make sure to dress in layers for the weather as it changes quickly and have an umbrella. Staff very friendly. Glad there was a concession and a place to sit under a umbrella😉.

Malahat SkyWalk is absolutely incredible! From the moment you step onto the skywalk, the panoramic views of the forest, mountains, and ocean are simply stunning. The structure feels very safe and well-built, and the height gives you that perfect mix of thrill and awe. The highlight for us was the slide — it’s so much fun and really thrilling! It’s safe and enjoyable. Both adults and kids will love it!

Awesome experience! View is stunning. Be ready to walk to the skywalk from the front. We had 2 seniors with our family and they walked slow but they made it up there. Little activities for the kids along the way. And there’s a playground at the bottom along with other activities like the large jenka, corn hole and connect four. Plus snacks, drinks and ice cream! Nice experience!!

Viator was so easy to use and better cost compared to the actual site. Go early to beat the crowds and strong afternoon sun (no shade at the top). Beautiful views, got lucky with fantastic weather. Spent about an hour at the top soaking up the sun and admiring the views. Walked back to the welcome center on the trail through the trees; fun little hike - just be aware it’s longer than the treewalk, not paved/has loose gravel, and there are some inclines/declines. Didn’t have any treats or food, so can’t comment on that. Gift shop was cute.

Very beautiful and worth the trip. We did the free shuttle which was right on time (NOTE right on time…if it says depart at 9:10am it is pulling away at 9:10am,). I appreciate the bus schedule and enjoyed the smooth ride up and back. We were done in a little over an hour and enjoyed relaxing on chairs with amazing views until our return bus. The hang out over the side is super fun and the slide down is a must. Highly recommend this if visiting Victoria!

This was great. Had an issue opening the link for tickets, which was a viator issue not site issue and the site staff was super helpful and took care of finding the reservation and getting us in. Would like just buy direct next time.
