Malakka City (ook gespeld als Melaka) is de hoofdstad van de kuststaat Malakka, in het zuidwesten van Maleisië. In de omgeving heeft de 17e-eeuwse Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng tempel sierlijke decoraties en meerdere gebedszalen. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Gratis ophalen en wegbrengen is alleen mogelijk voor hotels en woningen in de omgeving van het stadscentrum van Kuala Lumpur die zich op 10 km van Twin Towers bevinden. Wacht bij de ingang van het hotel en uw chauffeur haalt u daar op. Voor ophalingen buiten het stadscentrum van Kuala Lumpur (buiten het hotel) is een toeslag van RM 80 per auto per enkele reis vereist, die rechtstreeks contant aan de bestuurder moet worden betaald.

We had a fantastic experience with THS Tours and Travels during our trip to Malacca, and a special thanks to our driver, Selvam! It was great to visit Melaka and, for the amount of time we had, we managed to see quite a lot. In hindsight, we would have preferred to travel independently by bus and stay overnight to have more time. Despite being advertised as a night tour, we left around 7pm, before sunset, so it didn’t really feel like an evening experience. Our guide, Kelvin, took us to a Portuguese restaurant where the food was delicious. He had plenty of information to share, without it ever feeling overwhelming. One small suggestion would be allowing some free time in the shopping streets — it felt a little awkward going into shops with a guide following, and we would have enjoyed the chance to explore independently before regrouping. Overall though, Kelvin was an enthusiastic guide, who looked after us really well.
Our guide Gan was friendly, helpful and flexible. He took time to explain various historical landmarks. I’d definitely recommend him to others!
