Een leuke tour met een combinatie van tempelrennen en een verfrissend strand. Na het verkennen van de tempels en het strand van Mahabalipuram kunt u gewoon ontspannen op het strand en een bezoek brengen aan tal van oude tempels die uit grote monolieten waren gehouwen en een wonder van oude Indiase meesterschap over steen. Professionele surfers kunnen ook proberen te surfen, aangezien het water erg ruig is, maar het is gebaseerd op de inspanningen van de gast en heeft niets te maken met onze tour.

een gigantische monoliet in de vorm van een bal die op mysterieuze wijze in evenwicht is op een klein stuk rots

A journey to the temple city if mahabalipuram, breathtaking imposing temples pounded by rough sea on one side, a mammoth engineering marvel. We opted for the car and driver only oprin and were satisfied with our driver and the car. Owners are also promptly avaliable over whatsapp.

Where to begin... 1. Driver could've been a bit more communicative and friendly. Didn't have great English skills but that's fine others make do with less. They just wanted to get the drive done and take a nap it seems. Carried no cash which was important later... 2. Beach day in the title no actual day at the beach- rushed through monuments clearly everyone wanted to take full payment for half a days work... 3. Poor communication from management and clearly scrambling to keep it all together. I paid for entrance fees to the monument even though I paid for the all inclusive option that should have included monument fees. Management scrambles by sending me WhatsApp messages from two different people who have no idea what they are doing. They apologize and say the driver will pay me back the 1200 rs. How can he pay me back with no cash? Claimed the driver would reimburse me but the man has no cash! Driver scrambles by asking random folks at the hotel if they have cash because he can't go to an atm since he has no card? At the end of the day I saw a great monument but I would choose a more professional company if I were you...
Dear Sir We acted professionally throughout the tour, only confusion was regarding the 10 dollars entry fees which you ended up paying because of a minor communication mistake, we refunded you that too, it took few minutes extra for the driver to arrange that, however you got impatient though we kept informing you that you will be reimbursed. Driver took us to the various sites but needed to hire a guide once we arrived to show us where to go and give us the background history.

Our driver Mani was great, very punctual and polite. He pointed at couple of things on the way and dropped and picked us up at the entrance of the attractions and that there was no time pressure for the time we were in them, we went with no guides and wanted to take our time and explore. Car was comfortable and and the trip went smoothly.

The whole town is a ASI site showcasing ancients hindu architecture and sculptures. Most of the sculptures are created from single granite rocks.
